Today’s Body Connection:  I always say, “Transformation is a journey with no destination.”  The real challenge is finding the joy on your voyage to a healthy lifestyle. The vibration you put into your transformation will be the deciding factor on how you participate and your return. Change is ongoing, so why not make the most of it?  Infuse your workouts with an attitude of Joy and positivity.  Your body is affected by your energy.  The vibration you choose will influence your results.

Today’s Meditative Thought: Transformation is a journey, not a destination.  Once you think you have arrived, ask the question, “Where does this road of transformation lead?”  By asking this question, it creates an openness and willingness to grow and be more of our authentic self.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, embrace the journey of transformation. Take a breath, open your heart, and keep moving.  You are on your journey; it’s time to take one step at a time.  Today, keep awake and know that your enlightenment is unfolding.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this breath…just for this moment, I travel the road of transformation, willing to grow and be my true authentic self.  And so I am, and so I let it be.  Amen

Today’s Body Connection:  How do you know you have had a transformation?  You live your life differently.  When you set the intention to be mindful about your body-temple, there will come a time that you will become your vision.  You will begin to live your transformation.  When you shift your eating habits, you will begin to make healthy choices.  You will choose living food instead of processed junk.  You will give up the fast food, that which kills your energy levels, and embrace whole food that will empower your workouts.  You become a living expression of the healthy practices that have taken over your life.

Today’s Meditative Thought: True transformation can be recognized by the way you live.  We can say we have changed, but if there is not a shift in the way we live our lives, it’s just another mental distraction from the real work.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, go and live your transformation.  It’s not about what you say; it’s about how you live.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I live my transformation for the whole world to see.  Amen

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: Transformation – Day 29 – Threefold Transformation”

Today’s Body Connection:  As your journey unfolds, you will become aware of your personal trinity: the mind, body, and spirit can never be separated; they are aspects of self, making up the one.  Each piece represents an intricate part of our lives that simultaneously affects other parts.  The way we think affects the way the body moves.  How the body feels can influence the way we think.  Any spiritual practice can be swayed by how we think and feel.  The Hindu practice of Yoga is to prepare the body for meditation.  If the body is stretched and relaxed, it can sit for longer periods of time in the stillness, allowing for deeper realization and cultivation.  Awareness is key; understanding that the three are connected allows your journey to be full and effective.

Today’s Meditative Thought:  Transformation is threefold: Mind, Body, and Spirit.  It’s all or nothing.  All three are connected.  You can’t truly transform your body, your relationship, and/or your life until you shift the way you think.  And every transformation must come from God within your spirit that knows it must be set free.  Every malady in your life has a spiritual solution, and once we tap into that knowledge our life will change, our bodies with shift, and our lives will be better. We will experience a lasting transformation. We will stop riding the train of change and we will be on the ship of transformation.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, put into practice the tools that will shift your spirit; change the way you think, and your life will expand.  Commit to the physical, mental, and spiritual practice that is working for you.  Push the restart button again, if need be.  Get moving and/or keep moving no matter what.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, my transformation is to Mind, Body, and Spirit.  And so it is.  Amen

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: Transformation – Day 28 – “It Takes Time”

Today’s Body Connection:  When you want to shift your body, remember that it takes time.  Question: How long did it take you to get in poor condition?  There are no overnight solutions.  Be patient as you transform your body-temple.  Sometimes it takes longer than we want to allow time for.  Allow yourself a realistic time goal.  Transformation takes as much time as it needs; it cannot be rushed.  Breathe and let go of your time expectations.  It will happen in its divine time.

Today’s Meditative Thought:  It takes time to transform your consciousness.  There are levels of awakening; the journey is filled with many facets. There is the Ah-ha moment, the realization that change is needed.  Then comes the level of deep contemplation, when we ask the question: How can I apply this new thought to my life?  Next come the action plan, the practice, and beginning to do what is required for the change to happen.  The last level is the being, the “yin of transformation.”  We become the shift and we live the transformation.

 

 

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, walk through each level and know this is about the journey; there is no destination.  It takes time for a lasting transformation to happen.

 

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I embrace every level of the transformation.  Amen

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: Transformation – Day 27 – “Transformation Is Growth”

Today’s Body Connection:  Remember, we are on this path to grow.  When we speak of transformation, we speak of being better and more of our authentic self, and that require growth.  Whenever you say yes to being better, there is always a time of “stirring up the pot,” or what is known as a “growth edge.”  Transformation can sometimes feel like an agitation of the soul, an uncomfortable space that we would like to run from.  We need to hold tight, stand firm, and allow the growth to happen. Transformation of the body can be one of the must uncomfortable experiences, but remember, physical challenges will lead to a breakthrough.

Today’s Meditative Thought: Transformation is about growth, being more than you ever thought you could be.  When we truly shift our conscious thoughts, we become stronger, more anchored in infinite possibilities.  Our willingness to grow and be more is the key.  Your yes is the key that opens the door of life.  Your consent to be more is your gateway to success.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, begin your transformation with a big, fat Yes.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I say a big, fat yes to growth.  And so it is.  Amen

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: Transformation – Day 26 – “Determination and Tenacity”

Today’s Body Connection:  One of the great challenges while transforming the body-temple is staying with and adhering to the required program.  Your determination to complete the goal requires “staying power.”  You will always come to a fitness crossroad; your choices are to keep going or to give up.  Your tenacity and persistence is the key.  You cannot win if you are not in.  You must stay in the game.  That old saying rings true: “Quitters never win and winners never quit.”  To put a new spin on it, “You can’t win a game if you don’t play.”  Trust me, it’s one of the hardest challenges of your life, but transforming your body-temple from unhealthy to healthy is the most fulfilling goal you will ever achieve.

Today’s Meditative Thought: True and deep transformation requires determination and tenacity to see God’s plan come to fruition.  You are the divine vision in living form.  The shift will happen if you don’t give up.  Be determined to stay in the race.  We all have great insights, but when we cease the work that is required, or we don’t see change right away, we shelve our dreams and move on.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, be determined; continue to allow your transformation to come forth.  Stick with it no matter what.  Find an accountability partner who will stand with you no matter what, even when you don’t want to continue.  Once you have connected with your partner, make the commitment to stand with them.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am determined and filled with divine tenacity to see my transformation come to life.  Amen

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: Transformation – Day 25 – “Dedicated to the Practice”

Today’s Body Connection:  As you train the body-temple, focus on staying dedicated for the present moment you are in.  Commitment is required, but for the moment.  On your runs, stay dedicated for one breath and one stride at a time. During your strength training, commit to one single repetition at a time during the set.  During yoga, devote yourself to the one pose you are experiencing.  So do not worry about any exercise outside of the present.  Your power comes from the NOW, not the future or the past.  Be mind of where you are and what you are doing.

Today’s Meditative Thought: Transformation requires dedication, but we must commit to only one breath at a time.  Be dedicated to the practice just for today, one moment, and even one breath at a time.  You can’t run before you crawl, and transformation is an endurance race, not a sprint.  Dedication is being present and awake to the moment you are in.  Then, before you know it, you have shifted your whole existence.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, be present to the moment you are in.  Dedicate to the breath you are taking and have faith that you are in the midst of your transformation.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am a living dedication to my transformation.  I surrender to God and allow the blessing to be my everyday way of life.  Amen

Today’s Body Connection:  During your workouts it is important to remember your drive.  What is your intention?  What are your goals?  Your focus will get you through your hard training session and it will keep you on track.  Take time to write your goals down in a journal.  Before your training session, check in and remind yourself why you are doing what you are doing.  Periodically, during the workout check in with your intention.  When your workout reaches the challenging segments, declare your intentions; create a mantra that will keep your drive alive.

Today’s Meditative Thought: Remember your drive, what is inspiring you to transform your life?  What is the intention for your transformation?  Intention means to stretch and be bigger, be more.  What are you stretching to become?  When setting the intention for your transformation, know what it is you want to become, and then look inside to find it within.  Your intention must come from within your being.  There is nothing to become; only the realization that you already are.

 

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, set the intention to realize your greatness.  As you enter into your physical practice, set the intention to know your greatness.

 

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am more than I thought I could ever be, and that is greatness.  And so it is.  Amen

Today’s Body Connection:  Every workout is a time to remember who and who’s you are.  Our life is a dance of forgetting and remembering our power.  The physical practice is always a tool for remembering, if we set the intention.  When you do cardiovascular training, remember your capacity to breathe.  When you lift weights, remind yourself of the never-ending strength that lives within your soul.  When you take a Pilates class or train your core, remind yourself that a strong foundation is needed to build your life.  And our yoga practice is a reminder to be more flexible in our lives.  Our physical practice reminds us of the spiritual journey we have said yes to.  It is all connected!

Today’s Meditative Thought: Transformation is the journey of remembering who and who’s you are.  Today, remember that you are divine and fine.  There is only one thing to change, your consciousness and that is everything.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, transform the way you see yourself; be still and remember.  Mindfully move through your day with only empowering thoughts.  Whenever you think of your body-temple, bless it with love.  This might be a challenge at first but you can do it.  Set the intention to remember to be kind and love to your self.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I remember to remember.  Amen

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: Transformation – Day 22 – “Awaken the Sleeping Giant Within”

Today’s Body Connection:  Have you ever finished a challenging workout and it left you feeling drained, but you knew that you could conquer the world?  Well, my friends, you just released the sleep giant, a power greater than you, wanting to show up as you.  This giant has been awakened and it wants to activate your life vision.  Your physical practice is the tool that allows you to know your true power.  As you train your body, ask the question, “What greatness am I to release today?”  Then expect to hear the answer.  Your workout is a tool for inspiration and motivation to be more than you thought you could be, to do more than you thought you could do.  Awaken your giant by running an extra quarter-mile than you had planned, or take a yoga class that was not on the “to do list.”  It’s time to conquer your fears and your self-doubt.

Today’s Meditative Thought: Transformation awakens your sleeping giant, your big self.  What we are transforming is our awareness of our connection to God.  True power is the knowing that you are the power.  You can do anything and everything that you desire.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, meditate and cultivate the idea that God lives within you.  Do it as much as you require until you are walking in that space of awareness.  Focus your mind and awareness during your workout, your morning breakfast, at work — 100 times, if needed.  Keep your awareness of the Universal presence alive.  Each time you become aware, remind yourself that you can conquer any and every challenge.  Today, begin a mental practice that will lead to a spiritual breakthrough.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I awaken the divine giant.  I connect with the power within my soul.  I turn to the source that powers my life.  Amen
