Today’s Body Connection:  Yes is more than your consent; it is an agreement to activate greatness within your life.  Look at your physical practice as an opportunity to release mediocrity and an invitation for you to live your greatest life.  Every moment during your workout is a moment that God wants to show up as you.  The only destiny is that the Universe is seeking is to express itself as you.  Will you let it happen?  Will you say yes?

Today’s Meditative Thought: Your yes is the gateway to transformation.  The vibration of yes allows a shift to happen.  Use yes to carry you through.  Say yes to the transformation to your new self.

Today’s Action Plan:  Yes, Yes, Yes…Today, use yes to empower your change, mind, body, and spirit.  Write a journal entry of what it means to say yes to your expansion, and what it looks like.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I say yes, yes, yes.  Amen

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: Transformation – Day 20 – “Transforming the Heart”

Today’s Body Connection:  Cardiovascular exercise is a form of training that increases the health of your heart and the ability to breathe in oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. Every time you increase your heart rate, you increase your capacity for life.  True transformation is one that we cannot always see, but that we can feel.  When we train the body-temple, we experience the power of the Universe living within our soul.  In yoga, we call it the Prana, the life energy force, and it is felt in the heart chakra.  During your workout, feel the energy pulsating as you breathe; feel the heat of life running through your blood.  Take a moment to be aware and present.

Today’s Meditative Thought: Transformation comes from the heart and transforms the heart.  The deepest transformation is felt within the heart chakra, the green energy circle in the middle of your chest.  You know when you have been truly changed.  You feel it.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, open up your heart and feel the transformation.  Meditate on the growth that you have experienced this month.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I say yes to the transformation of the heart.  And so it is. Amen

Today’s Body Connection:  Today, give your body-temple the permission to be the best it can be.  Your willingness to grow is your key to success.  Every transformation needs your yes, and it is the affirmative language that will set the Universe in motion.  On your run or walk, repeat your personal mantra, giving yourself permission to be whole and complete.  True power must come from an intention to be better, to be more.  Encourage yourself to be the best you can be.

Today’s Meditative Thought: We can set the intention to change, but there must be a willingness to transform.  Be willing to grow to transform your life.  Be willing to do the practice that is required to shift.  Be willing to listen and hear God for direction.  Be willing to go through the deep trenches of transformation.  It is your willingness that allows the shift to happen.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, be willing.  Say yes to all things God.  Say yes to your spiritual, physical, and mental practices. When you get the call upon your life, just say yes and move into action.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am willing to listen.  Amen

Today’s Body Connection:  The body transformation requires you to be open to new practices.  Your old paradigms have brought you to this desire to shift, but you cannot do it while dwelling on the past.  When we say yes to transformation we must be willing to shift the way we did things in the past.  It is your willingness to change your way of being that will allow you to grow. When you are willing to sacrifice your old habits, you begin to make room for new life expressing itself as you.

Today’s Meditative Thought:  During your transformation, be open to new and wonderful experiences.  The shift will bring forth exciting opportunities to see things differently.  The Universe will become new and Ah-ha moments will be the norm.  You eyes will be opened, and you will never see the world like you used to.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, invite yourself to set aside everything you think you know so that you may have a new experience. Stay open to new and wonderful ways to connect with God.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am open to a new way of living.  I surrender to God and allow blessings to cushion my footsteps.  And so it is.

Today’s Body Connection:  Our physical transformation is the beginning of deeper revelations seeking to emerge.  The transformation isn’t how we look; it’s how we feel inside.  Our weight may fluctuate, so we can never call it a transformation, but when our awareness shifts from self-deprivation to self-love, true change has happened.  The only thing that can elevate our consciousness is the power of love; it knows no lack or limitation, so connect with love, empowers your personal growth.

Today’s Meditative Thought: Love is the real transformer.  When you are looking to shift your existence, always look to Love — Love for yourself, Love for your relationships, Love for your job, Love for your planet.  You can only transform something by living at a higher vibration than the situation, and Love is the highest vibration.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, live above the vibration of the situation.  Journal and keep track of your insights and your transformation.  Take the time to be present with your growth.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I look to Love for my real transformation.  Amen

Today’s Body Connection:  Today, have faith that your transformation is happening.  Do not go by your external appearance; you may be the last to notice the changes in your body.  Everything you do accumulates; every walk, run, and/or yoga class adds to your fitness bank account.  When you lift weights, have faith that you are getting stronger.  When you jump on the elliptical machine, know that your cardiovascular condition is improving.  During yoga trust, you are on a personal journey to higher consciousness.  All physical transformation begins with some small leap of faith that a change can happen.

Today’s Meditative Thought: Faith is the key during your transformation.  You might not see the change you desire or the life you want right away, but have faith; your transformation is happening.  Turn all your concerns and worries over to God and allow the Universe to do its thing.  Have faith in God, have faith in Love, have faith in faith, and have faith in yourself.  This is your time to transform and co-create with God the life you are meant to live.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, have faith as you transform your life.  Create a mantra that anchors your faith!  Every hour on the hour, use the mantra to remind yourself of the journey you have said yes to.  Take a breath, slow down, and remember.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I stand in my faith that my transformation is happening now.  And so it is.  Amen

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: Transformation – Day 15 – “Stand Up”

Today’s Body Connection:  It is time to draw the line: what do you stand for?  Becoming our authentic self is our greatest challenge but is also our greatest achievement.  When we decide our life’s path, we must be willing to live it.  This past summer, I got the opportunity to teach children’s fitness at my spiritual community, one the greatest honors of my life.  I got the opportunity to talk to the kids about being healthy and active everyday.  During a game of soccer, I had an Aha moment about the reason I was running around like a teenager.  I heard my inner voice say, “This is who I am.”  It was not referring to me playing like a child, but about being active for the rest of my life.  Today, draw the line and cross it.  Stand up and be counted for your healthy life.

Today’s Meditative Thought:  Stand up and be counted for something.  You are not going through a transformation to be passive.  This change is to elevate the planet.  This work you have said yes to is not for naught.  It is to up-level the consciousness of the people around you.  As you are lifted, men, women, and children will follow.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, allow your health and fitness to shine so all people may see it.  Be lifted up to a new horizon.  Set the intention to stand for your life.  During your training, remind yourself that you’re doing this because you are worthy.  Before you make a decision, ask yourself, “Would my high self make this choice?”  Connect with your commitment and stay accountable with your higher vibration.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I stand for God as I up-level my consciousness.  Amen

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: Transformation – Day 14 – “Love Yourself”

Today’s Body Connection:  The sole purpose for transformation is to know more love.  Our earth mission is to connect with the Divine.  Every practice, whether it is spiritual, mental, or physical, is designed for us to return to our natural state of being.  Somewhere along our journey we have forgotten the “active way of life.”  There has been a disconnection between why we eat and how we should feed the body.  We have lost our way and the true meaning of health and fitness. Self-love has been low on the priority list and last on the to do list.  Body, mind, and spirit transformation realign our way of being with our way of doing.  And this, my friends, is the return journey of self-love.

 

Today’s Meditative Thought: You must love yourself through every stage of the transformation.  The road gets bumpy sometimes, but hold on as your change is coming.  When you can’t find love for yourself, ask God to show you the love that you need to make it through.  Transformation requires Love, and Love is always the great alchemy.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, allow Love to be the “great alchemy” of your life.  Every time the phone rings, announce to yourself, “Love is Calling me and it’s time to Love myself.”

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I allow my transformation to happen.  I am empowered with self-love and all is well within my life.  Amen

Today’s Body Connection:  Transforming the Body-Temple means becoming your authentic self.  Our birthright is to be full of light, living a healthy life, expressing wholeness, and vibrant.  We are created in the image of perfection; therefore we should live a life that reflects perfection. I’m not talking about the surface idea of perfection, the external appearance of how we look, act, or behave.  I am speaking of the divine presence of God that lives within our souls.  When we approach the physical practice for the sole purpose of expressing our spiritual perfection, we become our authentic self; we live the real life we are meant to live.

Today’s Meditative Thought: To become more of your authentic self requires a connection with God.  Cultivate your oneness consciousness with meditation.  It is in the stillness that we know we are one with Spirit.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, sit in the stillness until you know you are one with God and that everything will be okay.  Today, ask God to show you your authentic self and begin to live it.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, I embrace God and I live my authentic life.  Amen

Today’s Body Connection:  Transforming your body means letting go mentally, physically, and spiritually.  We let go of the thinking that we are not worth being healthy and whole.  We let go of the idea that we can’t have it all.  We let go of low vibrational habits that, in truth, are killing us.  We release eating practices that no longer serve the intention to experience life to the fullest.  When transformation is the force, sedentary lifestyles are out the door.  Compromising our bodies with inactivity is no longer our story.  It time to let go of everything that stands in the way of our greatness.  Release the blocks and let go of the limitations you are holding on to.  Create an opening for transformation to happen.

Today’s Meditative Thought: Transformation requires the release of the stuff.  Think about the word “stuff.”  It carries a vibration of overcrowding.  To get more stuff or things, we are forced to squeeze the new acquisition in with the stuff we already have.  A transformation in our lives requires an open space.  Release the stuff that is no longer serving you and make space for transformation.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, let go of the stuff and embrace the open spaces.  During your time of physical practice, envision yourself letting go of your spiritual baggage and becoming lighter.  As you physically work out, mentally and spiritually connect.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I let go of the stuff and embrace the open spaces of God.  And so it is.  Amen
