DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Empowerment – Day 22 “The Power to See the Best”

Meditative Thought: Empowerment is the power to see the best in all things. When life appears to be challenging, our focus may change and we can get lost in our circumstance. What we are called to do is to shift our perception. We will always get what we look for. If you see a life of disappointment, or an existence that is full of grief, that is what our experience shall be. If we see a life that is whole and complete, filled with infinite possibilities, then so it shall be. Our empowerment comes from our consciousness and our perception. We must stay focused that we are one in God; therefore we have everything we need. We are co-heirs and co-creators in God, worthy of seeing the best for our lives and the lives of others.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, set the intention to see only the best in every situation. At the end of your day, journal about your experience.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I see the best in all things. I activate the God consciousness and I am blessed. And so it is. Amen.

Meditative Thought: Our greatest power is the option to check in with our self. Our greatest gift is the knowing of our spiritual authority. God Lives within; therefore when we go to the inner space, we return to God. Here are some questions we can ask ourselves to keep on track: “Am I expressing love today?” “Am I being compassionate today?” “Do I see grace in this situation?” “Am I in the oneness consciousness with everyone today, or am I isolating?” “Where am I not seeing God in this situation?” “How can I share more love today?” “Am I choosing to be harmonious?” “How can I show more joy today?’ “How can I share more God today?” When we check in, expect the answer. Know that when we set the intention to be more and to share more God, we will receive direction to support our intentions.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, set the intention to check in. Take time to ask yourself the questions that clarify any unsure situation. When conflict arises within you, breathe and contemplate. The answers are within you.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I choose to see God today. And so it is!

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Empowerment – Day 20 “The Power of the Peacemaker”

Meditative Thought: Blessed are the Peacemakers is what Jesus said during the Sermon on the Mount. When we say yes to keeping the peace within our lives and our community, the challenge is great, but worth it. To be a true Peacemaker we must be empowered by the power of God and stay reminded that the Universe is Peace; therefore we can activate peace in every situation. Peace is our natural place of being, active in all things. When we choose to hold the consciousness of peace, we must know that it is active no matter what our external eyes may see. Intention to see peace in a land of war and violence is the choice to empower the planet. There is power in our commitment to hold the peace and there are blessings that we get to share in. When we pray and meditate for the power to hold the peace, we activate a divine mission that only a few will ever be blessed with. When we can see peace, we see God, and that is the blessing.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, set the intention to hold the peace. When the energy is tested by confrontation, begin to hold a vibration of peace. Be mindful of the importance of your vibration of peace. You are the light, so allow your light to shine.

Meditative Thought: When we are empowered, life feels easy. But we must remember that the power we feel is God in action; grace is unfolding. Grace is how easy God makes our life flow. When we are in the divine zone, we are empowered to do anything and everything. Surrendering to the movement of God and stepping out of the way allows us to see Grace and to know that God is activated within our lives. When we connect with Grace we connect with the generosity of Spirit, a capacity to embrace love and to truly feel the power.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, step out of the way and allow grace to unfold. Take the time to be mindful of God in action. At the end of the day journal about your experience.

Affirmation: Just for this moment… just for this breath, I am free to activate God. I am free to see Power and Grace moving in my life.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Empowerment – Day 18 “Compassion and Empowerment”

Meditative Thought: One of the greatest tools of empowerment is the ability to help someone. The truth is, when we help someone we help ourselves. We are connected through the divine love of God, and our nature is to reach out and to be of service. As we walk this path of enlightenment, we get to examine the true meaning of compassion. Compassion and Love is seeing someone as our self, and only wanting the best for him or her. In the movie Avatar, the essence of the film was expressed in a simple line: “I see you.” Compassion is seeing that someone is hurting and saying, “How can I help?” But all love and compassion begins with self and ends with self. If we are challenged with showing compassion, we must check in with ourselves and ask, “Where am I in need of compassion?” When we are kind to ourselves that is true empowerment.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, set the intention to be compassionate with yourself. Write yourself a letter of compassion around an issue that is challenging. Write the letter without getting lost in the story. Today’s assignment is to love yourself without attachment to your feelings. The practice is to learn true compassion and become an effective tool for healing.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am free to activate God. I am free to show compassion to others and myself.

Meditative Thought: The Flow of abundance is like a faucet that will flow as long as it is open. What opens the flow is our consciousness. Our empowerment comes from awareness that God’s abundance is always active. When we know that there is a never-ending flow of God in our life, we know that we can do anything. When the faucet of Abundance is turned on, the water of blessings is always flowing, allowing us to bring forth our greatest yet to be. Our work is to connect and stay connected with Source. The power to do what we have come to the planet to do fuels our every step. Turn on God’s abundance within your life.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, turn on your faucet of abundance. Create an affirmation that anchors your willingness to receive the all-good grace of The Universe. You affirmation should be to the point, an affirmative statement of the truth of your intention. For example, it could read like, “I am open and willing to receive my blessings.” Repeat your affirmation every hour on the hour until you know it by heart, and then say it again. Have fun!

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am free to activate God. I allow the “Divine Water” of creativity to flow. I am free to be my greatest yet to be. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: The sacred act of surrendering to God is the first step of empowerment. When we acknowledge that a power greater than ourselves is running the game, we can relax. The surrendering to the Universal presence of order and balance leads to a Freedom, a freedom to do anything and everything that we are called to do. We know that there is a power within us that is prefect, whole, and complete, and that knows exactly what you need to fulfill any mission. When we rely on that energy, we choose to empower ourselves with this non-equitable source. When we are truly free to express God deeply, we begin to know true Abundance; Abundance of the Spirit. This Abundance in Spirit allows a deep flow of Creativity to show up in every part of our lives.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, identify places in your life that you are not willing to surrender to God. Take the time to examine your life and see where you are holding on to the control. Make a list in your journal, and then make a mindful intention to turn it over to God. This is a process that may take days, months, even years, but the first step is the identification and the need to release.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am free to activate God. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: Ever since I was a little boy, this question, “Who am I and why am I here” has been in my consciousness. From an early age, I have been on a quest to bring meaning to my life. The more I study, the more I realize how much I don’t know. Our spiritual inquiry is a journey that requires continual exploration. When we remain humble and teachable, we allow expansion of our consciousness and we create the room to grow. This is known as the “Beginner’s Mind.”

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, create a space for study. Set the intention to make time daily to learn more. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to find your sacred study material: one book, manuscript, or pamphlet that resonates with your soul. Decide when and where you will study on a daily basis. Set your divine appointment; create a calendar reminder in your phone, computer, or your pad. This is an appointment you don’t want to miss.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am here to express God. And so it is. Amen.

Meditative Thought: “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things unseen.” – Hebrews 11:1. We might not always see the vision or our intentions unfolding in front of us, but we must keep the faith that it is happening. Remembering to keeping the faith active is the ultimate empowerment. All things are possible if you only believe. Believing is the knowing that your life is unfolding perfectly, and that you are here for a reason. Your life’s purpose is to share your gifts with this planet and faith gives your vision power. Today, know that you have purpose because you are alive; therefore faith is the key that activates your every move.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today is the day of faith building. Remind yourself, every chance you get, that you have purpose. Remind yourself that your life is a purposeful life because you exist. God makes no junk; therefore you have purpose. Live your life as if your intention is done.

Affirmation: Just for this moment… just for this breath, I give birth to my greatest yet to be seen. And so it is.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Empowerment – Day 13 “The Pathway of Empowerment”

Meditative Thought: The Universe is always directing the pathway of empowerment. Our higher self is guiding every step we take if we are open to its direction. God speaks but we don’t always listen. During times of confusion and indecisiveness, go within and contemplate your next move. When you are unsure of what comes next, ask yourself, what can I do to embrace my vision? What can I do to move myself to the next level? During a time of unemployment, this could be the time to start your own business. Maybe it’s time to create your own flow of abundance, rather than depending on old ideas, un-fulfilling jobs, and/or people who don’t appreciate you. When things don’t seem to be working in your life, this is a time to find another way to be creative. When it appears that your life is not moving in the direction of your intentions, or it seems that you are in a period of inactivity, remember that The Universe is always working on your behalf. Whatever your calling is, know that it is unfolding right here and right now. True empowerment requires faith; no matter what, God is working in and as you.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, take a deep look at your journey. Mindfully know that you are on a path with no destination. Each step is designed to empower you in one way or another. Mindfully walk the path today. Stay awake and move through your day with the awareness that you have purpose; you are on the pathway of Empowerment.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I allow God to speak during this gestation period. And so it is.
