DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Empowerment – Day 17 “The Faucet of Abundance”

Meditative Thought: The Flow of abundance is like a faucet that will flow as long as it is open. What opens the flow is our consciousness. Our empowerment comes from awareness that God’s abundance is always active. When we know that there is a never-ending flow of God in our life, we know that we can do anything. When the faucet of Abundance is turned on, the water of blessings is always flowing, allowing us to bring forth our greatest yet to be. Our work is to connect and stay connected with Source. The power to do what we have come to the planet to do fuels our every step. Turn on God’s abundance within your life.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, turn on your faucet of abundance. Create an affirmation that anchors your willingness to receive the all-good grace of The Universe. You affirmation should be to the point, an affirmative statement of the truth of your intention. For example, it could read like, “I am open and willing to receive my blessings.” Repeat your affirmation every hour on the hour until you know it by heart, and then say it again. Have fun!

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am free to activate God. I allow the “Divine Water” of creativity to flow. I am free to be my greatest yet to be. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: The sacred act of surrendering to God is the first step of empowerment. When we acknowledge that a power greater than ourselves is running the game, we can relax. The surrendering to the Universal presence of order and balance leads to a Freedom, a freedom to do anything and everything that we are called to do. We know that there is a power within us that is prefect, whole, and complete, and that knows exactly what you need to fulfill any mission. When we rely on that energy, we choose to empower ourselves with this non-equitable source. When we are truly free to express God deeply, we begin to know true Abundance; Abundance of the Spirit. This Abundance in Spirit allows a deep flow of Creativity to show up in every part of our lives.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, identify places in your life that you are not willing to surrender to God. Take the time to examine your life and see where you are holding on to the control. Make a list in your journal, and then make a mindful intention to turn it over to God. This is a process that may take days, months, even years, but the first step is the identification and the need to release.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am free to activate God. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: Ever since I was a little boy, this question, “Who am I and why am I here” has been in my consciousness. From an early age, I have been on a quest to bring meaning to my life. The more I study, the more I realize how much I don’t know. Our spiritual inquiry is a journey that requires continual exploration. When we remain humble and teachable, we allow expansion of our consciousness and we create the room to grow. This is known as the “Beginner’s Mind.”

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, create a space for study. Set the intention to make time daily to learn more. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to find your sacred study material: one book, manuscript, or pamphlet that resonates with your soul. Decide when and where you will study on a daily basis. Set your divine appointment; create a calendar reminder in your phone, computer, or your pad. This is an appointment you don’t want to miss.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am here to express God. And so it is. Amen.

Meditative Thought: “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things unseen.” – Hebrews 11:1. We might not always see the vision or our intentions unfolding in front of us, but we must keep the faith that it is happening. Remembering to keeping the faith active is the ultimate empowerment. All things are possible if you only believe. Believing is the knowing that your life is unfolding perfectly, and that you are here for a reason. Your life’s purpose is to share your gifts with this planet and faith gives your vision power. Today, know that you have purpose because you are alive; therefore faith is the key that activates your every move.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today is the day of faith building. Remind yourself, every chance you get, that you have purpose. Remind yourself that your life is a purposeful life because you exist. God makes no junk; therefore you have purpose. Live your life as if your intention is done.

Affirmation: Just for this moment… just for this breath, I give birth to my greatest yet to be seen. And so it is.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Empowerment – Day 13 “The Pathway of Empowerment”

Meditative Thought: The Universe is always directing the pathway of empowerment. Our higher self is guiding every step we take if we are open to its direction. God speaks but we don’t always listen. During times of confusion and indecisiveness, go within and contemplate your next move. When you are unsure of what comes next, ask yourself, what can I do to embrace my vision? What can I do to move myself to the next level? During a time of unemployment, this could be the time to start your own business. Maybe it’s time to create your own flow of abundance, rather than depending on old ideas, un-fulfilling jobs, and/or people who don’t appreciate you. When things don’t seem to be working in your life, this is a time to find another way to be creative. When it appears that your life is not moving in the direction of your intentions, or it seems that you are in a period of inactivity, remember that The Universe is always working on your behalf. Whatever your calling is, know that it is unfolding right here and right now. True empowerment requires faith; no matter what, God is working in and as you.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, take a deep look at your journey. Mindfully know that you are on a path with no destination. Each step is designed to empower you in one way or another. Mindfully walk the path today. Stay awake and move through your day with the awareness that you have purpose; you are on the pathway of Empowerment.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I allow God to speak during this gestation period. And so it is.

Meditative Thought: Our emotions are our friend. They tell us when things are in alignment or not. When we are aware of our feelings, I call this the Emotional Zone, a time when we are listening to our inner self. When we learn to listen to our feelings and trust the message, we become open to our emotional growth. Emotional growth happens when we are not controlled by our emotions but rather when we use our emotions to check in.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, embrace your emotions. Allow your heart to empower your every move. Let your emotions guide you today. Stay focused and balanced and know that God is in your “emotional zone.”

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I embrace my high vibrations and I allow my best life to come forth. I am one with Spirit; therefore
my life rocks. And so it is. Amen.

Meditative Thought: In a world that is based on getting ahead by working hard, we must remember the truth: There is something bigger than us, something that is all-powerful, running the show. Yes, we are responsible for co-creating our lives, but God is the source of this power. As we look at our accomplishments, our to-do lists, our relationships, it is very easy to think that we are in control, but there is a Universal force that works within our soul. It is this Presence that makes all things happen. Make time for a daily reminder: Everything that we are and that we do come from the Universe. We are one in God and in God there is infinite possibilities. Every moment you remember this is a moment of true empowerment.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, make a list of everything that empowers your consciousness. Study this list and know its empowering effects. List those practices that resonate within your soul. Set the intention to up-level your awareness. Dive into and commit to your sacred time with God. Remember that power comes from the Universe; we only need to recognize it. Set aside time to practice. This is the most important element of empowerment.

Meditative Thought: A positive attitude is what I call “Positive Power.” The energy you that you align your intention with is key. Keeping a positive attitude will give you the power that makes all things happen. Positive Power energizes your goals and keeps you focused on a day-to-day base. Our emotions are connected to our existence. The vibrations we send out help or hinder our personal growth. Gratitude is the foundation of Positive Power. Be grateful for this time. Understand that gratitude is a divine quality of the Universe; therefore Positive Power is God in action.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today set the intention to only participate in positive interaction. Be mindful of your words. Only speak words that inspire your life.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am inspired. I stand in gratitude and empower my intentions with Positive Power. And so it is.

Meditative Thought: Your language and thinking is key for your personal empowerment. Be aware of negative thoughts entering into your mind. As soon as you are aware of the negative thoughts, use an affirmation to help you shift your thinking. Affirmations help to expand your consciousness and subconscious, allowing the super-consciousness to empower your existence. Align your intentions with affirmative language, creating the most effective and ideal atmosphere primed for transformation.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, affirm yourself with a mantra that speaks the truth of your existence. Mindfully speak the words until you have feel empowered, until you are anchored firm in the awareness of the power of God. Write an affirmation that you can believe, one that will help you to stay focused. “I am one with the Divine power, and my highest good is unfolding perfectly,” is a simple affirmation with effective power. Set your clock, watch, or phone alarm for 6am, 12 noon, and 6pm, as a reminder to say your affirmation. Take the time to journal you experience.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am one with the Divine Power, and my highest good is unfolding perfectly. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: The highest consciousness of empowerment is the awareness that everything is working on your behalf. If we remain in the mindset that our highest good is unfolding right here and right now, that becomes the energetic vibration that will get us through anything; the best will emerge during any and every situation. There are times when we worry and we try to make things happen. There is nothing you can do to make God’s will to unfold and fall into place. God’s will is always unfolding. Spirit is just saying, “Wait and be still.” Everything is working at the right time. Empower yourself with the knowing that the Universe is working in you, for you, and as you. You have the power; there is nothing you need to do, so rest in that consciousness; become the power that you are.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, set the intention to know your power comes from within. You have everything you need; it’s within you. Create a simple mantra that reminds you that you have everything. Repeat the mantra every hour on the hour. Today is the day to anchor in the truth.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, as I wait I know my highest good is unfolding. And so it is.
