DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Recognizing The Divine – Day 2 “In the Stillness We Will Know”

Meditative Thought: Rickie Byars Beckwith sings,” Mankind is a child of the Sun.” How amazing is it to know that we are so connected to the Divine, and that we were formed from the same energy of the Sun. God thought us to be so important that we were created from the same power that heats the earth. With that awareness there is nothing that we cannot do. The power of God lives within us all. There is a place deep within your being where the spark of creation lives, waiting to explode into existence. But understand that only the sacred practice of prayer and meditation can ignite this awareness. The Universal presence of God can only be known when it is recognized as so. We will only know this power in our still, quiet time. In the stillness we will know our connection to God.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, make it a priority to be still and know that God is in your life. During meditation contemplate you oneness with Source until you know the truth: you and Mother-Father-God are one.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am a child of the Sun, and I rock. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: What brings you peace of mind? What inspires you to live the life you know you are meant to live? Whatever it is cleverly designed as, the true nature of your passion is the Divine. Recognize that the power that keeps you moving toward greatness is God. We were created in the image of the Universe; therefore divinely inspire to express every quality that God is. As we pursue the “Life Spectacular,” love, joy, grace, and peace fuel your every step. Go after your dreams with the power and passion that the Kingdom of God has given you; it is in you right now. Go and restore this world; step out with the knowing that you are supported and you are called to fulfill this mission.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, live the “life spectacular.” Do what brings you peace and restores your journey. Make a list of all the practices that fuel your life. Be willing to commit to expressing God within. Today is your day to step out and share God.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am one with God; therefore peace of mind is my birthright. I am here to make a difference with my Divine gifts. Amen

Meditative Thought: Every situation is a reminder of Love or a call for Love. Everyday is a great day to give love if you’re to receive love. Whatever condition, situation, and/or relationship we find ourselves in, we must remember that our primary purpose: to share God and to share love. But the challenge is; can we remind ourselves of this when faced with difficult times in our life, like breakups, family arguments, or undesirable work situations? It is during these times, when ego says “Stand your ground,” that we must remember that love is our greatest healer. Love is the answer.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, remind yourself that love in the key to all things.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I choose to love.

Meditative Thought: The word Dharma means one’s righteous duty, or any virtuous path. It is a journey of truth that each woman and man must decide for him or herself. What Dharma have you decided to follow? Once we have taken up the call, it is our consistency to the practice that leads to transformation. Stay on your path of enlightenment. This path is twofold: embracing the change and releasing the old idea of what it means to be holy. What old rules are you ready to release? You can choose the path you wish to take and release the ones that do not serve you. Peace and blessings.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, set your Dharma; decide what spiritual path you are going to follow. Make an agreement with yourself to embrace this journey of truth.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I recognize my divine path and I see God everywhere I go. Amen

Meditative Thought: There is an impulse within our souls to evolve. Because we live in an expansive universe, our soul is constantly growing. We must embrace the soul’s desire to expand, allowing Spirit to transform our life. From within we feel the need to know our life’s purpose. We can only see God’s vision for our life by incorporating practices that embraces our transformation. Prayer and meditation is existential for the shift, allowing us to step into our greatest yet to be seen. This is your time to authenticate your life through God that lives within us all. Be the author of your existence and live a life that has meaning.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, do the thing that brings you closest to the awareness that you are one in God. Do it three times: once in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Set the intention to grow and be more than you ever thought you could be. Catch your vision and fly.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, the evolutionary impulse is my life. All my revelations reveal my wholeness. My highest focus is my oneness with God. Amen

Meditative Thought: Your past is not your business; it is gone and done. The only thing we have is the present. When we hold on to regret, or dwell on “would have, should have, could have,” there is no movement of the spirit; just mental constipation. Life is a mystery; we have no idea what is in store. We can only embrace the unknown as a path we are destined to follow. Because we are one in God, we know that our journey is always blessed. Release the fear of moving on and embrace the mystery of life. Although we have no idea what life has in store, God knows. Release your history and embrace the mystery of God.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, embrace the mystery of your life. Bravely step into the unknown. When you feel fear or a desire to return to the old way of living, boldly step into something new; seek to participate in something that scares you. Be brave today; God has your back.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I release my history and I embrace the mystery of God. Amen
