DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: “Remember” Day 11 – “Love and Forgive”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: “Remember” Day 11 – “Love and Forgive”

Today’s Body Connection:  Remember, no matter what your body weight is, God loves you.  Even when you fall off your diet, you can never lose favor with your higher self.   The Universe is an absolute power of love that can only express love.  It knows nothing about your falling off the wagon or your 25-pound weight gain.  So often we equate Love with what we look like.  God only sees your divine self, your spirit.  As you connect with your body-temple, know that you are always blessed.  There are times when we bring the practice in alignment with our intentions, and sometimes we don’t.  Don’t judge it as right or wrong; understand that we are on a path of the transformation of the body, mind, and spirit.  There will be times that our eating will be dead on and our consistency of training is the best it has ever been.  But there will also be times when we won’t be as focused as we would like to be.  Remember, God’s love is not contingent on the size of our jeans; love is the same today, yesterday, and tomorrow, it is nonjudgmental and unchanging.”  Be grateful that no matter how many times you fall, you can always get back up and keep moving.  God loves you no matter what.

Today’s Meditative Thought: True redemption is the act of forgiving yourself and setting your mind to rest.  Long after we have received the forgiveness of God and the person we have wronged, we continue to hold on to the guilt, convincing ourselves that God could never love us again.  We have the choice to make things right within our mind.  The redemptive power of God is the knowing that we are loved no matter what.  Yes, we must make things right with those we have harmed, but we must ultimately make things right within ourselves.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, remember that God loves you no matter what.  Your past is forgotten and forgiven; the only thing we must do is forgiving ourselves.  Examine your life and see if there is anything you are holding on to that needs to be forgiven and/or released.  It is time to place it on the Alter of Forgiveness.  As you workout, you might create a mantra that is about forgiving your shortcomings.  “I forgive myself for forgetting myself” or “I forgive myself for the weight gain.”

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I remember to redeem my mind with self-love and forgiveness.  Amen

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT: Surrendering – Day 12 “Surrender and Forgive”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT:  Surrendering – Day 12 “Surrender and Forgive”

The Body Connection:  It’s time to start again.  So what, you fell off your diet and you haven’t worked out in days.  It’s time to forgive yourself and move on.  When we choose to transform the body, there will always be successes and challenging times.  It does not matter if you fall, it maters that you get up and keep trying.  The body is a temple, housing your essence.  It needs your daily practice.  Health and fitness is your birthright and it is time to claim it.  Surrender your self-sabotage, forgive your shortcomings, and push the restart button.

Meditative Thought: Unforgiveness blocks of the flow of God within our lives.  The only thing holding us back from the fullness of the Universal flow is our inability to forgive others and ourselves.  Transformation begins with love.  We have two choices: we can love ourselves through the transformation or continue to beat ourselves up.  The choice is ours.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, examine the areas of your life that are in need of forgiveness.  Make the decision to release and move on.  As you explore your life, journal about what you find.  It’s important to remove all your mental and spiritual blocks so your body’s transformation is filled with ease and grace.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I stand in the spirit of grace and I am forgiven.  My body is the living expression of the Universe.  Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Empowerment – Day 29 “The Power to Forgive Yourself”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  31 Days of Empowerment – Day 29 “The Power to Forgive Yourself”

Meditative Thought: My spiritual teachers have taught me that, “The only person to forgive is myself.”  This spiritual practice is to bring our hurt and resentment back to self so that we may truly deal with the issue.  When we project our feelings and disappointment on to someone else, we give them the power. When we choose to first forgive ourselves for believing someone’s perception or allowing a situation to trigger unwanted feelings, we begin to take back the power that we have given away.  There is another key point to forgiveness: As I see the person that I have an issue with, I see myself; I am looking at a mirror.  We are the same, cut from the same spirit cloth. The work is about the forgiveness of others as you forgive yourself. When I forgive someone, I am forgiving myself. When we choose not to forgive, we choose not to grow. When we forgive, we love.   All forgiveness starts with self, and therein lies the power.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment:  Today, write a letter of forgiveness to yourself.  Whatever it is that you are holding on to, it’s time to forgive and let go.  Read the letter to yourself while standing in front of the mirror.  Look into your eyes and see yourself truly forgiving your self.  Do it as many times as need until you feel the release of the un-forgiveness that you are hanging on to.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I forgive; therefore I am forgiven. I love; therefore I can love. And so it is. Amen
