DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGET: 31 Days of Surrendering to God – Day 2 “Surrender to Your Higher Self”

Meditative Thought: Surrendering to your Higher Self is letting go of the control. We must learn to relax and allow God to be God as us. Our life is the life of the Universe that has a grand plan for our highest good to unfold. We must stop controlling the way we want God to perform in our lives. God cannot be put in a box, leashed, and controlled on command. “Let go and let God do the God thing.”

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, allow God to be God in your life. Mindfully release the control, allowing the Universe to flow as your life. Today, when making a decision, turn within and ask God for guidance.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I surrender to a power greater than myself. I live my greatest potential in the mind of God. And so it is. Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGET: 31 Days of Surrendering to God – Day 1 “Ready to Surrender”

Meditative Thought: Are you ready to surrender? Are you ready to release control of your life? Are you ready to experience the riches and treasures of the universe? It begins with surrendering your life to God. When you turn your will and the care of your life over to a power greater than yourself, there is a freedom to relax, a freedom from the need to make “it” happen. God is in control of all things; we only need to step out-of-the-way and allow God to do the God thing.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, turn your life over to a power greater than yourself. Through prayer and meditation, cultivate your oneness with God. Take time in the stillness, clear your mind of external thoughts, and with every breath repeat the mantra, “I am one with God.”

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am one with a power greater than myself. And so I am. And so I allow it to be. Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Recognizing The Divine – Day 18 “How to Shine”

Meditative Thought: Once we are willing to shine, ask the question, “How can I shine?” The most effective way of sharing the light is doing nothing. Release and let go; allow God to radiate as your life. Surrender to the Universe, and let God do the God ”thing.” We need not make anything happen; we only need to allow it to happen. Be willing to radiate what is already within you. Keep your mind clear and open. Remove the doubt, fear, and worries from your consciousness and know that you are not alone. You are supported in everything that you do.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, ask the Universe how to shine your light. Have faith that you will receive the answer, and then take action. Go and shine.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I allow God to shine as me. I am a powerful tool for God to flow through me. I release and let God, be God, as me. And so it is. Amen
