DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 8 “Love Will Lead the Way”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 8 “Love Will Lead the Way”

Meditative Thought: When in doubt where to go or when to move, allow love to guide your way.  You will know exactly what you need to do, and when.  Every decision is motivated by one or two thoughts, love or fear.  When fear is the initiator, there is a sense of worry and doubt.  When Love is the motivator there is a feeling of peace and contentment.  When we are looking for a sign or an answer to a question, God can answer through many ways, but we must also discern if it is God talking or our ego.  Once we think we have received an answer, take it in to meditation and prayer.  Contemplate and cultivate and be still until the peace of God is more powerful than your question.  When you have that moment of clarity, and you know that you know, then move with confidence.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Do you hear with Spirit ears?  Today, write a question for God and then meditate on it, and wait for the answer.  Listen with the intent that an answer will come. The answer will come to you through intuitive knowledge, a word from a friend, or a message from an unexpected source. Journal the experience!  Do this once a day for 30 days.  At the end of 30 days count how many times spirit talked to you and gave you the answer.

Affirmations: Just for today, just for this moment, just for this breath, my thoughts are connected to the same Divine Intelligence that flows through everyone. God will tell me what I need to do in all situations and I can hear his sweet, still voice. I go within, to hear my direction, and Mother-Father-God speaks clearly to me.  And so it is.  And so I let it be.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 7 “One With the Lover”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 7 “One With the Lover”

Meditative Thought: The Lover and the beloved are one.  God created a divine gift that is you, and God does not make junk.  We must know this truth to experience true love.  God is the power of Love and because we are one in God, we are always in love.  There is no separation from this power of Love. There is no separation from you, and the universal power that created all things, but our ‘egoic thinking’ will tell us there is a division.  This is not true.   When we can begin to appreciate who and what we are, our life will expand. Our talents, gifts, and lives are given from the Great Lover, The Universe.  God loves us so much that it chose to incarnate as us individually. Only I can share God the way I share God.  Only you can do you; so bring the love in your unique way that is only you.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Have you ever heard the statement, “I wish I could be like…” You must learn how “to do you.”  Today, learn to be the best you can be.  List all the talents that you do better than anyone else.  Take your list and create a poem, which empowers you to live the greatest life you can…Then share it with a friend.

Affirmations: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I will live my life to the fullest, and will honor my Father-Mother-God by expressing the greatest me I can be.  I live the life that Spirit intends me to live, and I empower others to do the same.  I live a life that honors my potential.  I choose to live in the light.  And so it is.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 6 “Love to Forgive”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 6 “Love to Forgive”

Meditative Thought: Whenever we choose to forgive others, or ourselves, the shift comes from Love and from God.  There is a power greater than the resentment that helps us to release and let go.  This power to forgive overtakes everything and we sometimes forget what the grudge was about in the first place. Love only knows itself.  Love only knows its pure absolute presence; it does not know our fears, resentments, or lack.  Love is the only power that can change an unwilling heart too an open space, creating room for growth and transformation.

When we are stuck in un-forgiveness it is like we drank poison and hope that the other person dies.  Holding on to resentment consumes our life day in and day out.  It takes much more energy to hold on to grudges.  We have to remember what the other person did, how they did it, why we are justified, and what we need to say to them when we get the opportunity.  Love is our natural state of being.  It is our place of feeling at peace.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, write a letter of forgiveness to yourself.  Forgive yourself for unfulfilled dreams and promises.  Ask for forgiveness of loves’ lost, and disappointments.  Write a 2nd letter, accepting the apology.  Release the old thought patterns of un-forgiveness and create “the you”, you were intended to be.

Affirmations:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I forgive myself and release the old paradigm that I am not good enough.  There is no condemnation in the Christ Spirit, so I am free to forgive others and myself.  I release old resentments that do not serve me anymore, and I am free to love.  And so it is.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 5 “Self-Love and Appreciation”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 5 “Self-Love and Appreciation”

Meditative Thought: When we think of love, we imagine the tangible.  The true essence of love is invisible and it is an energy that can only be experienced.  Divine love is a vibration that we must be open to give and receive.  Love can not be seen, but it can be felt deep within the soul.  This is the activation of the power of Love that lives deep within.  Self-love is the knowing that we are one in that Love…one in God.  Self-Love is the highest appreciation for who and what we are.  We must learn to connect with self-love so that we are able to love others.  If we take the time to appreciate the power that governs our life, all doors are open, and we become aware of all the love around us and our lives become filled with opportunities to love.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, make a list of all the things you do well.  Write down all the things you love about yourself.  List all your achievements.  Close your eyes and breathe in that feeling.  Enjoy it!  Feel the love!  Now multiply that love by 100.  That is about .01% of how much God loves you.  Revel in that thought!

Affirmations: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am a child of the most high, and I am aware that I am aware.  My God-consciousness is my greatest potential, and I live in a world of infinite possibilities.   And so be it.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 4 “Falling In Love With The Desires of Your Heart”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 4 “Falling In Love With The Desires of Your Heart”

Meditative Thought: What are the desires of your heart?  What do you want for your life?  We live in a universe that wants to give you all your needs and desires.  Our blessing will flow as much as we believe, so we need to believe with all our heart.  Fall in love with your goals and desires.  Believe with all your heart that you deserve to participate in the abundance and prosperity of life.  Your consciousness is key.  We can only receive as much as we believe.

Your Spiritual Assignment:  Today, make a list of all the things you want for your life.  The sky is the limit.  No ceiling. Create a visioning board. Post this list on the board where you can see it every day. Look at this list until each and every desire comes true.  Learn to focus on the things you want, instead of the things you don’t have.  While you are visioning, be grateful for all the achievements you have accomplished.  Create a list of all the gifts you are grateful for and place it next to the desired list.  Every time you vision for those desired goals, give equal time to your gratitude list.  We must change our mind, to change our life.

Affirmations:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I control my entire mind and I choose thoughts that will strengthen my spirit.  My Mind, Body, and Spirit are one with God and I expand larger with each and every breath.  My mind is the mind of God, and only good comes from it.  And so I let it be.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 3 “Love, The Greatest Transformer”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 3 “Love, The Greatest Transformer”

Meditative Thought: True transformation comes from a place of love.  There is an open space within us all that is an evolutionary impulse to shift and transform into more of our selves.  We must be willing to touch that ‘love space’ every time we set the intention to be more of who we are.  When the call to transform our life is activated, we must move from  love.  Our motivation must be to know more love; to create a more open space.  God is in that space and only says yes to our expansion.  It is love that can transform any and every situation.  As Whitney Houston would say, “When your world’s falling apart. All you have to do is say a prayer… love will save the day.  There’s an answer in your heart, so let your light shine on my dear, and love will save the day.”

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, create a poem about transformation.  How have you truly transformed throughout the years?  Is there anything about you that is more God-like than a year ago?  What has shifted within your spirit?  Understand we are always evolving if we choose to.

Affirmations:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, transformation is what I do, and I am evolving to a higher consciousness of God.  With every moment, I become new. With every second that passes by, I know that I am more Spirit than human.  I am created with the essence of God so there is no lack or limitation for anything. There is only God.  And so it is.  And so I let it be.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 2 “A House of Love”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 2 “A House of Love”

Meditative Thought: Is your home a house of love?  When someone enters your home do they feel the love?  Love is an energy that elevates ones habitat.  Our home should be a place where Love is the main focus.

I remember growing up in New Jersey, I would arrive home from school my mother would always be there with a snack, or a smile; I always felt that love.  She would always ask me about my day.  She was the ‘love activator’ for my family.  My mother would always find the one thing that I did right that day and say, “Good Job.”  Her appreciation for me were always created an amazing vibration.

Allow yourself to be the activator of love.  I invite you to take on the role of “head of the family” when it comes to love.  Watch what happens to your family when you set the intention to Love.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, think about the place you call home. Think of the good attributes of your family, friends, and loved ones.  Create a poem about all the wonderful attributes that make up your family and your home.  Read the poem out loud to yourself and others.   Because you are blessed, be grateful for the love, and bask in the positive energy.

Affirmations:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am a child of God and my life is the life of Spirit. I am a member of the incredible family of God, and my life is full of love. I am powerful, strong, and a wonderful expression of the Most High.  I am one with the One, and I am at home wherever I am.  And so it is.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 1 “Love: The Calling Upon Our Life.”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 29 Days of Love – Day 1 “Love: The Calling Upon Our Life.”

Meditative Thought: Love is the highest and the greatest consciousness that we have.  We are called to share more love upon this planet, and everything we do should come from a place of love.  If you’re service, action, or what we say is done without love, we are just a gong, making noise.  When love is our motive, we anchor our actions in God; therefore we are successful from the start.  Be the bringer of Love.  Be the beacon that shines the light of love.  God is Love; therefore when you share love, you are sharing God.

Spiritual Assignment: Today, journal about what you think God is calling you to do!  This could be about work, love, or simply giving back to the universe.  Write about God’s plans for your life.  This is the first step in reaching your destiny.

Affirmations:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am a unique expression of God’s love and divine grace.  My life is a vehicle for sharing my gifts, and I live with the knowing of my existence on this planet.  I am here to bring God’s light into this dimension, and empower the greatness, which lives in everyone.  And so it is. Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Setting Intentions Day 31 “A New Way Of Life”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  31 Days of Setting Intentions Day 31  “A New Way Of Life”

Meditative Thought: We must always set the intention to grow and expand our consciousness.  When there is a shift in awareness, it is always followed by a new way of life.

A transformation begins with an intention: intention to grow, to change, to shift, or just to be more of ourselves.  This intention always focuses on our evolutionary development.  Even when we think it is time to change the way we look or lose a few pounds, all things bring us back to the nature of our oneness with the Universal presence of God.  It is our divine birthright to look in the mirror and feel good when we see ourselves.

After the intention comes the action.  We just can’t sit around on our intention.  A new way of life requires action.  “Faith without works is dead.”  Once we have identified and participated in the practice on a consistent basis, we begin to see a new way of life that has taken over the old.  Set the intention, and follow it up with the action…Then you will see your life as new.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, set the intention to embrace a new way of life; a transformation of your existence.  Take the time to vision for your life, and see what, and how, the Universe is calling you to participate.  Catch your new way of life vision that is seeking to emerge.  Once you receive the vision, step into action and create the practice that will support your transformation.  Prepare yourself for a new way of living.  It’s already within you, just allow it to come forth.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, I embrace my oneness with Spirit that ignites my transformation.  I am blessing and fulfilling my birthright of infinite possibilities.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Setting Intentions Day 30 “Retreat”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  31 Days of Setting Intentions Day 30 “Retreat”

Meditative Thought: Sometimes we must retreat from our everyday lives to push the restart button.  The word “retreat” means to withdraw into a place of safety, a refuge, or retirement and or a period of retirement for religious or spiritual practices like meditation and prayer.

When we decide that life has become overwhelming or to challenging, it is time for a retreat.  We do not have to go up to the mountains, our to the desert to push restart, although that is the ideal way to retreat.  We can begin again in our homes, in the backyard, down the street at the park, or even a day at the beach.

A retreat is a turning away from what stands in the way of your spiritual practice, and a surrender to your connection with God.  Be open to a daily retreat from the world.  Find a place that you can shutdown from the grind and fall into the arms of God.  Set the intention to find your safe haven in God.  The Universe is always ready for you to ‘steal away’ some time for yourself.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, set the intention to retreat on a daily basis.  Find the time to unplug from the world and connect with God.  For 30 days, take time to shut off the computer, cell phones, TV’s, and just be still.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, my oneness with the power of God fuels my very being.  My safe haven is in my sacred and holy place within.  And so it is.  Amen.
