DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 1 “A New Day”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 1 “A New Day”

Today’s Body Connection:  Setting new intentions for the body-temple is a must in order for a real shift to occur.  Be willing to declare what condition you are looking to achieve.  All change and transformation begins with setting goals.  Remember this truth: an external shift is temporary but an internal transformation is lasting.  This year, instead of focusing on losing pounds, try setting the intention to embrace your desires.  Be open to receiving and recognizing your wholeness, divinity, and self-love.

Today’s Meditative Thought: Today is a new day, a New Year, and our life continues into eternity.  Because our existence is never-ending, we get the chance to push the restart button and begin anew.  This start-over is fueled with intentions.  The word intention means to be more, to stretch, to grow.  When we set intentions, we must be willing to expand our mind, body, and spirit.  This New Year’s Day is the perfect time to begin your eternal existence again.  Remember, each day is a new day, each moment is a new moment, each breath is a new breath, and that we have never experienced this moment in God ever before.  Don’t waste this new day; use it to grow and be more than you ever thought you could be.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, set the intention to start again.  Create your own restart button by realizing that you are in the middle of eternity.  Take time to meditate on the newness of each breath, moment, and day.  Today, see the freshness of God, and refresh your life.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I live the newness of God that is my life.  I push the restart of eternity and create a new spiritual journey.  And so it is.  Amen.

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Celebrating Light – Day 25 “Light Expresses Only Itself”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Celebrating Light – Day 25  “Light Expresses Only Itself”

Today’s Body Connection:  Endurance and Strength go hand in hand.  You cannot increase your endurance without increasing your strength.  And when you exercise for longer periods of time, you will increase your strength and your endurance.  When we move from the awareness that both are connected, it does not matter what you are doing, you will not get the results you desire.  Take the time to go for a long walk or a power run.  Work out with weights, or go for a swim.  It’s all good. It’s all divine.  It’s all perfect.

Today’s Meditative Thought: As we celebrate the birth of the Christ Consciousness we become aware of how God shows up within our lives.  The Light only expresses itself as Love, the highest consciousness there is.  When we feel the presence of God within our hearts that is the Light making itself known to us.  We can become aware of the Divine through a person, place, thing, or a moment of silence.  God is everywhere; we can hear it in a song, we can feel it when we talk to a friend, or while reading a book.  All of these moments bring us back to the realization of divine love.  When we see God expressing itself, it is important that we declare it as what it is…Love.  The recognition of Grace, or God in action, helps us to remember the one power that is always active.  The Christ Consciousness is the awareness that we are one with Mother… Father…God, and there is nothing that the power of God cannot do as us.  “I do nothing, but it is the Spirit within me that does all things.”

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, when you feel the presence of God, touch your heart, close your eyes, and take a deep breath.  Recognize the experience of God you are having.  The more aware of God we become, the more experience of God we will have.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, the Light expresses itself as me.  Amen

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: “Remember” Day 29 – “Our Peaceful State”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: “Remember” Day 29 – “Our Peaceful State”

Today’s Body Connection:  Remember, when the body feels good, we are free to experience a peaceful state of mind.  The mind, body, and spirit are connected as one; therefore one affects the other.  Whenever we feel the challenges of our body, our minds can work to compensate for or to overcome adversity.  When we feel uneasy, it’s time to meditate.  Let the stillness overtake the pain, allowing peace to be your state of being.

Today’s Meditative Thought:  We are meant to coexist with each other and share love.  Our peaceful state is a harmonious vibration that lives within us all. Remember, when you are in conflict with your loved ones, neighbors, or friends, you are really in conflict with yourself.  It is time to remind yourself that the solution is always Love; self-love.  Until we find our personal peaceful state of being, how can we find peace with anyone else?

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, cultivate peace within yourself.  Take the time to meditate on the word “peace” and what qualities come to mind.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I remember that the answer is always “Love.”  Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Recognizing The Divine – Day 22 “Present to See The Divine”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Recognizing The Divine – Day 22 “Present to See The Divine”

Meditative Thought: The Divine can only be experienced in the present.  If we can remember to be awake and aware in the now moment, we have access to great power. True greatness is happening around us right now; it only needs to be recognized. Most of the time, our ego, or what I call the ”little self,“ lives in fear of the future or the regret of the past.  The past is gone, and the future never comes. The only thing we have is the now, where we have unlimited source of the Divine.  We must open up our third eye to see the spirit of God, which can only be accessed right were we are, in this very moment.

Your Spiritual Assignment:  Today, be present.  Actively stay in the now.  Notice when you are in the past or the future, than bring yourself back to the present.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I live in the now. I revel in the love of God. I am one with all power. And so it is. Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Recognizing The Divine – Day 16 “God in the Flesh”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Recognizing The Divine – Day 16 “God in the Flesh”

Meditative Thought: Who are you?  Do you know the answer?  Do you constantly ponder and contemplate?  Do you really know?  Let’s go back to the origin.  God is in everything, is the source of all things, and knows all things; therefore we are made from this all-powerful source, made in its image.  Who are we?  We are God in the flesh, but it takes time to believe this revelation, and a consistent reminder of this truth.  But once we know it, we must stick to it.  We must do everything to remember. Connect and recognize your own divinity.

Your Spiritual Assignment:  Today, return to your origin.  Know that God is your Source.  Every time you get the chance, anchor with a simple mantra, “God is my source.”  Take a walking meditation, and with every step, speak the mantra.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am an expression of God. And so it is. Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Recognizing The Divine – Day 11 “Finding Peace Within”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Recognizing The Divine – Day 11 “Finding Peace Within”

Meditative Thought: What others think about you is none of your business.  We cannot control what people say about us or the way they treat us; we can only find inner peace within ourselves.  It is never about you.  It about how they are feeling at that particular moment.  Have you heard the saying, “One minute they like you and the next they don’t”?  That is because human perception is constantly shifting.  The only thing that we can control is how we react or interact in a situation.  The journey is to find peace during moments that seem to be out of our control.  Serenity only comes from within and it happens when we shift our consciousness. When looking for peace, it will come when you stop fighting.

Your Spiritual Assignment:  Today, free yourself from the need to worry about what others think of you.  When the urge arises, reminds yourself, “It’s none of my business what they think.”

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I surrender, and I activate peace. Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Recognizing The Divine – Day 7 “All Things Are Working for Our Good”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Recognizing The Divine – Day 7 “All Things Are Working for Our Good”

Meditative Thought: In my experience, there have been many shifts within my consciousness.  My thoughts and perceptions have been transformed around the outcome of events within my life. Before I began studying metaphysics and mysticism, I hoped that things would turn out a certain way.  Along with spiritual growth comes a release of the attachment that things must look and/or show up a certain way.

As our consciousness expands so does our freedom from the small-minded thinking that holds us back from our authentic greatness.  When we begin to have faith that God is working on our behalf, our life becomes unstoppable.   At this point of my journey, the practice is to know more God as my life. This level of consciousness allows us to release worry, doubt, and fear and show up as a beneficial presence on this planet. This freedom anchors us in the spiritual principle that “All things are working for our highest good.”

Your Spiritual Assignment:  Today, know that all things are working for your good.  No matter what happens during the day, just claim it as good for your spiritual growth.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, all things are working for my highest good. Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Self-Awareness – Day 31 “Reminder of Love”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  31 Days of Self-Awareness – Day 31 “Reminder of Love”

Meditative Thought: Every situation is a reminder of Love or a call for Love. Everyday is a great day to give love if you’re to receive love. Whatever condition, situation, and/or relationship we find ourselves in, we must remember that our primary purpose: to share God and to share love.  But the challenge is; can we remind ourselves of this when faced with difficult times in our life, like breakups, family arguments, or undesirable work situations?  It is during these times, when ego says “Stand your ground,” that we must remember that love is our greatest healer.  Love is the answer.

Your Spiritual Assignment:  Today, remind yourself that love in the key to all things.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I choose to love.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Self-Awareness – Day 30 “Dharma”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  31 Days of Self-Awareness – Day 30 “Dharma”

Meditative Thought: The word Dharma means one’s righteous duty, or any virtuous path. It is a journey of truth that each woman and man must decide for him or herself.  What Dharma have you decided to follow? Once we have taken up the call, it is our consistency to the practice that leads to transformation.  Stay on your path of enlightenment.  This path is twofold: embracing the change and releasing the old idea of what it means to be holy.  What old rules are you ready to release? You can choose the path you wish to take and release the ones that do not serve you. Peace and blessings.

Your Spiritual Assignment:  Today, set your Dharma; decide what spiritual path you are going to follow.  Make an agreement with yourself to embrace this journey of truth.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I recognize my divine path and I see God everywhere I go. Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Self-Awareness – Day 29 “The Soul’s Impulse to Grow”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  31 Days of Self-Awareness – Day 29 “The Soul’s Impulse to Grow”

Meditative Thought: There is an impulse within our souls to evolve. Because we live in an expansive universe, our soul is constantly growing. We must embrace the soul’s desire to expand, allowing Spirit to transform our life.  From within we feel the need to know our life’s purpose.  We can only see God’s vision for our life by incorporating practices that embraces our transformation.  Prayer and meditation is existential for the shift, allowing us to step into our greatest yet to be seen.  This is your time to authenticate your life through God that lives within us all.  Be the author of your existence and live a life that has meaning.

Your Spiritual Assignment:  Today, do the thing that brings you closest to the awareness that you are one in God.  Do it three times: once in the morning, afternoon, and evening.  Set the intention to grow and be more than you ever thought you could be.  Catch your vision and fly.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, the evolutionary impulse is my life. All my revelations reveal my wholeness. My highest focus is my oneness with God. Amen
