DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 31 Days of Self-Awareness – Day 9 “Pushing Past the Blocks”

Meditative Thought: The only thing that blocks eternity being activated in our lives is the ego. We were meant to freely express God qualities as ourselves. The challenge is getting past the egoic mind. The ego will tell us not to express Love because we won’t be understood, or that Love will not be returned. The ego wants to protect us from getting hurt. How many times have you wanted to give money to a charity but a fear came over you, the concern that you wouldn’t have enough to pay your own bills? That first impulse to share is God wanting to be activated through you. The second impulse is the ego trying to protect you. Stay focused on eternity. The opportunity to share God is always seeking to emerge.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, notice how and when you are blocking your blessings. When you notice it, be willing to reopen the flow with a prayer: “I am open and ready to receive my blessing.”

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am free to share God and God qualities. I am tapped into eternity, and all unfolds for my highest good. Prosperity, Abundance, and Plentitude are my birthright; therefore, I am free to share all that I am. And so it is.

Meditative Thought: What paradigms do we hold on to from our past? What have we learned from our parents, family, and teachers that have become our truths? What beliefs did we buy into from an early age? “Money doesn’t grow on trees.” “When will you get married?” “My biological clock is ticking.” What stories or identities have we created about ourselves that have become a mask that hides us from the world Do we believe the identities and the stories that served us early in our development? “God hates me.” “I will never find true love.” “I can’t, because I never have.” All of these attitudes are thoughts that coagulate into our existence. They become our truths. These thought patterns block our spiritual growth. What a great opportunity to transcend all the stuff our parents, teachers, and friends thought about us. The only truth we can anchor ourselves to is our oneness with God. Unity with the universe allows divine qualities to be activated in our lives. Release the story, and embrace your glory. Transcend your current identity.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, when you become aware of an old thought belief system that no longer services your spiritual growth, identify and than speak the truth. Create a practice of identifying the lie and right away speak the truth.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I release the story and embrace the glory of God. Amen

Meditative Thought: Life is eternal. Have you ever sat and pondered this statement? We will never die. Our spirits will live forever. Our bodies are just a shell. Once we release the body temple, our spirits will continue to live. Today, take the time to meditate on eternity. Life is eternal. Our spirits are forever. Our divine energy has never been born, or can never die. We are created from a source that has always been in existence. Before there was a time, we existed as pure light and love. Close your eyes, take a breath, and feel the vibration of eternity. Our spirit can never die; therefore every moment is new.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, journal about your eternity. Allow whatever comes up be a catalyst and an anchor for spiritual growth. Take the time to meditate on what it means to you, and allow your insight to expand your consciousness.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am one with Everlasting Life. My Universal Essence can never be harmed, broken, or changed. I am filled with The Light that can never die. The Spirit of Eternity is who I am. My life is forever. And so it shall be. Amen

Meditative Thought: Sometimes we just need to push restart. Some days are so challenging and it feels like a downward spiral. These are the times we get to do what I call a “spiritual do-over.” We can always push the restart button and begin again. When we are faced with difficulty, we can go to the secret place within our hearts and simply breathe. By stopping and taking a moment to be still, we will find the peace that seems to elude us. Our restart always begins by turning to God. By pushing the restart button we will know inner peace and serenity and our day will be brand new.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, take the time to push restart. Even if things are going well, turn inward and connect with Source. Make it a daily practice. It could be once, twice, or even three times a day.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, God is everywhere present, active in all things, and is all-knowing. I stand in gratitude and I am blessed. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: If we believe that God is everywhere active, then God is present and active within ourselves. So many times we forget that simple sacred principle. The Omni presence of the Universe means that there is nowhere that God is not. When we become aware of this truth, we begin to see with our third eye, our spiritual eye, and we move with a new focus. Remembering that God is always active changes our language. We will change how we talk to others and to ourselves. A question that keeps us aligned and awake is, “Would I talk about God that way?” When we are in conversation with someone or even talking to ourselves, check in with the language and how we choose to communicate. Remember that God is always listening.
Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, be aware of how you speak to yourself and others. Use only language that is filled with love and light, then journal about your experience. Take note of what comes up for you. Do not judge the process; just be in it.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am a child of God and am willing to unleash my God energy everywhere I go. I activate God qualities with my spirit, and I allow them to flow freely. The vibration of the Infinite feels my heart. I am God’s beloved, and God is pleased. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: We must be willing to catch the vision for our life. When you conceive what we know as your divine calling, this vision will pull you to a higher level of existence. It will be the thing that takes hold of you and doesn’t let go. A vision inspires you to reach higher and to be more. When searching for this higher meaning to our life, we must be willing to go within. We must spend time with the source from which this vision is created. Allow your vision to elevate your existence.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, journal about your vision. If you don’t know what it is, go into meditation and allow God to reveal what your vision is. Spend time within contemplation and allow the vision to take hold of your soul until it is pulling you to a new level of existence.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am one with the essence of the Universe. I revel in the Spirit of Creation. My life is God unfolding, day-by-day, minute-by-minute, and moment-by-moment. I am blessed beyond my wildest dreams. And so I let it be. Amen

Meditative Thought: Do you find it hard to love unconditionally? What does that mean? Unconditional love is love without conditions, loving no matter what. It is a challenge I struggle with everyday. When I drive in Los Angeles traffic, unconditional love is the last thing within my consciousness. But I am aware that I need work. It is a practice, not perfection. I do not beat myself up when I find myself annoyed and irritated. I have the tools to shift. Prayer, meditation, and a desire to be better are the tools for shifting.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, whenever you find yourself irritated, use prayer and meditation to re-center yourself.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am an instrument of Unconditional Love; a healing tool for the planet. I release the judgments against myself and everyone else. Today, I choose Love; today, I choose compassion. Joy and Gratitude begins with me, and spreads abroad. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: So many times we measure our wealth by how much we have in the bank. Our emotions can be dictated by how large our bank balance really is. Our material possessions are not who we are. Stop identifying with ”stuff,” which means nothing. Wealth consciousness is a practice of remembering that we are one in God; therefore, we are blessed and highly favored. You are an heir to infinite abundance, blessed with unlimited prosperity. No matter what your account balance says, it can never change how blessed you are. Today, begin again and start with the knowledge that you have everything within you.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, tap into your wealth consciousness. Go within with meditation and prayer. Connect with something greater than the material. This is an inside job. Play as if you have enough, choose a charity that you can give to. Free your mind and know that you have all the abundance God is. You can only receive that which you believe.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, the Universe is my source, and I am blessed. The Divine lives within me, and I am everything I need. There are only blessings in my life. There is only prosperity expressing as me. There is only Now, filled with God’s overflowing Good. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: The term “Born Again” has so many meanings. When we hear “Born Again,” what we typically think of is Christian salvation. But it can simply mean a re-birthing of the truth within your self. While we are here on this planet, there is a call to awakening our consciousness to the realization that we are one in God. Once we know this, we are reborn to a new way of living. After our resurrection from the walking dead, a genesis of infinite possibilities becomes our life and we are truly new.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, examine what ”born again” means to you. There is no wrong or right. Examine, contemplate, cultivate, and journal about what comes up.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I hold counsel with God, my spiritual life coach. I stand tall with the support of the Universe. Everything that I need to know is revealed through Love and Spirit. I awaken the truth within me and I am born again. I am one with Divine Intelligence, and I am blessed. And so it is. And so I let it be. Amen

Meditative Thought: Every new idea is received from the fourth dimension and we are the catcher of those thoughts. We were created from that same space, the divine mind of God, a sacred creative source that exploded into our existence. As we step into the “promises land,” we will notice an open space waiting and prime for our infinite possibilities and new ideas. A new vision means a shift in our perception. When we set the intention to shift, we will begin to see new ideas and new solutions to old problems, new love opportunities to participate in, and new ways to share God. Today is the day to activate a new practice that anchors our willingness to shift and that will eventually lead to a life with divine meaning.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, be aware of how many new ideas you catch, and every time you do, write it down. Begin to take note. Notice how open you are to new ideas.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, my life is one with an infinite power, and I live a life of infinite possibilities. The source of all things flows through me with ease and grace, and I allow creative energy to govern my life. My existence is a marvelous playground of Joy, Abundance, and Light. And so it is. Amen
