DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 22 “Pray To Surrender”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 22 “Pray To Surrender”

Meditative Thought: Prayer is the deepest form of communion with God.  When we are truly in the depths of the practice, the universe take over every part of the mind, body and spirit.  There is no thinking, contemplation or asking God for anything.  We let go of all things outside of ourselves and we surrender to the “I AM” that lives within us.  We let go of all fears, doubts and worries and we allow the presence of Spirit to take over.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today surrender to the God as you prayer; allow the prayer to pray you instead of praying the prayer.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, I allow the power of God to prayer through me.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 21 “Before You Pray Forgive”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 21 “Before You Pray Forgive”

Meditative Thought: “According to scripture, before we pray, before we can build an intimate relationship with God, we must learn how to forgive.” – Dr. Mary A. Tompkins, Before You Pray, Forgive

Dr. Mary is encourages us to shift our energy, from resentment to love, before we move into prayer.  Unforgiveness is a vibration just like Love.  It reminds me, not about who we pray to; it’s about where we pray from.  If we pray from a place of resentment, resentment is activated.  If we pray from a place of love, Love is the energy that carries your prayers into the Law.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, focus on forgiveness.  Examine your relationships.  Is there any forgiveness?  If so, be willing to heal.  Willingness is the first step to forgiveness.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, forgiveness is the order of my life.  I bless the world with Love.  I pray with a heart of kindness and compassion.  And so it is.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 20 “”God’s Will”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 20 “”God’s Will”

Meditative Thought: “True prayer must be, Thy will be done.”  Ernest Holmes

God’s will is to bless you to the fullest capacity possible.  The challenge is when we get in the way by putting God in a box.  We ask God for the blessing to look a certain way; it limits our possibilities.  God is infinite and his will is for you to share in infinite wealth and supply.  God’s love for us is to see you live the biggest, most amazing life ever.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, surrender to God’s will, which is your highest good.  Write a letter to the Universe proclaiming your commitment to God’s will.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, my will is God’s will and God’s will is my will.  And so I let it be.  Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 19 “Prayer to Manifestation”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 19 “Prayer to Manifestation”

Meditative Thought: Inherent in every desire is the seed of its fulfillment.” – Deepak Chopra

Deepak speaks of faith.  Know from the beginning; your prayers are being fulfilled.  It is done.  It is complete.  The Universe never says no; yes is always answer; yes to your highest good.

Manifestation doesn’t always look the way we want it to, but it always shows up.  Blessings might not show up when we want them to, but they always show up.  Have faith that the Universe is working for you highest good.  Release your expectations of how God should bless you.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, Pray without expectations except one; know that God is blessing you right now with a BIG FAT YES!

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, I say yes to the Universe and the Universe says yes to me.  Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 18 “Pray until Something Happens”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 18 “Pray until Something Happens”

Meditative Thought: “And you pray to be free, and for your burden to subside.  Hold on I’m the answer!  Pray till you realize, realize.” – Rickie Byars Beckwith’s lyrics from the song, When the Rivers Rising.

Prayer is about finding your freedom in the midst of bondage.  Prayer is the key that unlocks the door to your heart’s desire.  When the river of life is raging, hold on, and don’t give up.  Your prayer brings your attention back to God.  Stay in prayer until the Universe awakens your consciousness.  Prayer is the answer to all your problems.  In the prayer you’ll find your problem will dissolve, until the truth is the only thing that is standing.

Spiritual Assignment:  Keep Praying until something happen.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, I keep praying until something shifts.  And so it is. Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 17 “Prayer Shifts Our Consciousness”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 17 “Prayer Shifts Our Consciousness”

Meditative Thought: “We are affirming, declaring, and claiming the truth about the condition we desire to see manifested, realizing and convincing ourselves of what is true in the absolute realm.”- Linda Watson, ALSP.

Linda Watson, Agape License Spiritual Practitioner, reminds us that the prayer is about changing our consciousness.  No matter what the “story” or situation is; our prayer is to shift our minds away from the problem and look towards the solution.  The solution is always God.  If you are in need of money, your prayer is to connect with the spirit of abundance.  If you are dealing with relationship issues, your prayer is to remember that you are love; therefore you can love.  If you are faced with health challenges, your prayer is to tap into the Divine energy of wholeness.  Release your “story” and embrace your glory.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, examine the situation you are praying about.  Find the spiritual quality that is sought to emerge from the story.  Here are a few examples: Money problems, prayer to know your Abundance; Relationship issues, prayer to know self-love; Work problems, pray to know your divine creativity; Sickness and health challenges, prayer to reveal your wholeness.  Take time to journal about your insights.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, I declare my divine truth within every situation.  Every problem reveals God as a solution.  And so it is. Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 16 “It is Done as We Believe”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 16 “It is Done as We Believe”

Meditative Thought: “We cannot believe in a Divine Power that responds more quickly to one than to another.” – Ernest Holmes, Prayer

I love that quote.  Sometimes we believe that someone has an extra blessing or more God power than someone else.  Spirit does not discriminate.  The Universe does not know whether you are a good person or a bad person.  Prayers manifest as we believe.  The scripture says, “It is done as you believe.”  Be aware of your motivation for praying.  If we pray out of fear, fear is the energy that the Universe will use.  If you pray for money, out of fear of being broke, the fear wins out every time.  Fear is of the same energy as faith.  The Universe reacts to our energy; vibrations; emotions…not the words we speak.   The law works no matter what.  Be aware of not only what you prayer for, but how you pray for it.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, pray with the awareness of your emotions and vibrations.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, my prayers are filled with high vibrations.  All my intentions are immersed in love.  And so it is. Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 15 “Prayer that Unites”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 15 “Prayer that Unites”

Meditative Thought: “Prayer is a tool that unites the world.” – Skip Jennings, “Spirit Explosion”

Because we are one with the spirit of God, when you pray for someone else, you are praying for yourself.  With that in mind we pray only for the highest good for everyone.  I am always looking for the opportunity to pray.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, search for opportunities to pray for someone; I know you will find them.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, I am aware of my oneness with the most high.  I sing a song, only I can sing.  I am playing in the playground of the Universe where everyone is welcome.  When I speak a word for others, I bless myself.   And so it is. Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 14 “Affirmative Prayer Step 6”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 14 “Affirmative Prayer Step 6”

Meditative Thought: Affirmative Prayer Step 6 – Release:  Once you have said the prayer, you must release and let it go.  Release the prayer; allow God to be God.  We hold on to our prayers because we don’t have the faith that it will come to fruition.  As long as we hold on tight, the prayer can’t expand; it can’t breathe; it can’t grow.  It goes no further than your mouth.  Our prayers must fly into the cosmos.  “I let go and I let God,” is a mantra that I use all the time. Release is the first step to serenity.  Turn your cares and worries over to God.  Release is true freedom.  It builds our faith.  We begin to believe that God is in control.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, begin to release your prayer into the Universe so that God can be God.  Journal your experiences, I would love to hear from you.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I release and I let God.  And so it is.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 13 “Affirmative Prayer Step 5”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 13 “Affirmative Prayer Step 5”

Meditative Thought: Affirmative Prayer Step 5 – Thanksgiving:  Meister Eckhart wrote, “If the only Prayer you said in your life was ‘Thank You,’ that would suffice.”  This stage moves us into faith; faith that it is done.  Thank you is that overwhelming appreciation for God and its infinite expression of giving.  The more we say thank you, the more we have to be thankful for.

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, say thank you every chance you get.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment; just for this breath, I am grateful.  Amen
