DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 11 “Affirmative Prayer Step 3”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 11 “Affirmative Prayer Step 3”

Meditative Thought: Affirmative Prayer Step 3 – Unification:  The unification stage is about awakening to our oneness with The Universe.  “God is, I am,” is a defining affirmation that helped me to expand my Unity consciousness.  During this step, I speak words like, “One Life, one spirit, one mind, one God and I know my life is one with God.  Rev. Kathleen McNamara, from Agape says to stay in the unification step until you know that you are one with God.  Don’t move from this stage until, without a doubt, you can say that you and God are one.  When this unification awareness happens, you activate the power of the Universe.  The more you realize your oneness with God, the more you are able to activate Divine power in your life.

Spiritual Assignment: Today, activate the unification vibration in your life.  Speak an affirmation, “God is, I am.”

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, God is, I am. And so it is.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 10 “Affirmative Prayer Step 2”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 10 “Affirmative Prayer Step 2”

Meditative Thought: Affirmative Prayer Step 2 – Recognition:  The next step of the prayer treatment is Recognition.  Because God is everywhere present, this energy is governing the prayer.  God is the force that is everywhere, always active, all-powerful, and all-knowing.  The simple statement that “God is,” is recognition.  When we awaken to the fact that God is all-inclusive; we begin to see God everywhere.  God is all there is.

Spiritual Assignment: Today, actively recognize the activity of God.  This is a practice that requires work.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I recognize God to be all there is.  Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 9 “Affirmative Prayer Step 1 – Gratitude”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 9 “Affirmative Prayer Step 1 – Gratitude”

Meditative Thought: Affirmative Prayer Step 1 – Gratitude:  It is important to begin our prayer treatment with gratitude.  Gratitude is the highest vibration for manifestation.  If we begin our prayer with thanksgiving it sets the tone.  It is good to start our prayers in the highest vibrational field possible.

Spiritual Assignment: Today, begin your prayer with gratitude.  Set the tone and vibration of the prayer.  Feel the vibration.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am grateful for God.  I set the tone of my life with thanksgiving.  Gratitude is the order of my life.  And so it is.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 8 “Prayer Treatments”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 8 “Prayer Treatments”

Meditative Thought: I attend The University of Transformational Studies and Leadership at the Agape International Spiritual Center, where we study a form of prayer called “prayer treatments.”  I am asked quite frequently, what is the difference between prayer, and a prayer treatment.  The easiest way, I remember, is that prayer treatment is a prayer, but not every prayer is a treatment.  During a treatment, there are specific steps a spiritual practitioner will take.  Ernest Holmes says a treatment is when you acknowledge the Omniscience, Omnipotence, and Omnipresence of God and recognize man’s unity with spirit.  For the next 6 days let’s talk about the 6 steps of a prayer treatment.

Spiritual Assignment: Today, acknowledge the Omniscience, Omnipotence, and Omnipresence power of God in your prayer time.  Speak a word of the greatness of the Universe.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, I recognize the omnipresence of God.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 7 “Prayer Partners”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 7 “Prayer Partners”

Meditative Thought: Let’s pray together.  It is so important to have a many people I pray with.   A Prayer partner will stand in agreement with you during challenging times.  They will hold you in prayer when you can’t pray for yourself.  They will remind you of the truth you have said yes to.  A prayer partner increases the vibrational prayer field.  Prayer partnerships are a reminder that you are one with God and the Universe.  “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or more are gathered together in My Name, I am there in the midst of them.” — Matthew 18: 19-20

Spiritual Assignment:  Today, find your prayer partner.  Create an agreement to stand with another.  This partnership will last for a lifetime.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I allow the most perfect prayer partner to enter into an agreement with my soul.  I say yes to a divine partnership of prayer.  I stand in agreement and commitment to prayer for myself, and others.  And so it is.  And so we let it be.  Amen, Amen, Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 6 “Song Of Prayer”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 6 “Song Of Prayer”

Meditative Thought: Michael Barnard Beckwith says, “Singing is praying twice.”  I get that statement.  The lyrics send out a vibration, accompanied by the vibrations of the melody.  I get the opportunity to sing with a very large choir, The Agape International Choir.  Most of my time is writing, speaking, or singing about God, my favorite subject.  Whenever I sing, my vibration is lifted to new heights.  The music we sing helps to anchor my spirit.  Every song has a message.  What song do you sing?

Spiritual Assignment: Today, sing your prayers.  It doesn’t matter if you think you can sing or not.  It’s about your intentions to elevate your consciousness

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, “Sing, sing a song, make it simple to last the whole day long.  Don’t worry that it’s not good enough for anyone else to hear, just sing, sing a song.”  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 5 “Prayer Communication”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 5 “Prayer Communication”

Meditative Thought: When is a good time for prayer?  Prayer is our communication with our inner spirit; our time with God.  Prayer is our anchor in the rocky sea of life.  This past year my spiritual work has been around praying without ceasing.  It’s not easy, but it has expanded my consciousness.  Because we are one with God we have a choice about how we approach every situation.  We can show up as God, and speak words that affirm our divine qualities.  Remember, you are God speaking to God, words from God, to God.  It’s about your awareness.  Every moment can be a moment of constant communication with Spirit.

Spiritual Assignment: Today, let’s be mindful of what we say, how we say it, and whom we are saying it to.  Be in constant prayer.  Speak words that uplift vibrations.  Take time to meditate on your experience.  See what new insights arise for you.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I speak only words that uplift my mind, body, and spirit.  And so it is.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 4 “Prayer is Freedom”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 4 “Prayer is Freedom”

Meditative Thought: Affirmative Prayer is freedom.  When we speak an affirmative prayer we choose to live a life of co-creation with God.  When we pray and speak with authority we begin to lose the chains of bondage.  Praying to a God outside ourselves hoping that a blessing will come…is powerless.  When we realize our oneness with God, we have the power to empower our lives.  Affirmative Prayer is knowing that you have everything you need and that you’re free to live your fullest life.

Spiritual Assignment: Today, pray to a God that lives within you.   Speak to Spirit like an old friend, because it is.  The Universe has been with you before time, and it will never leave you.
Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, I pray to God that lives within me.  I am one with infinite Spirit.  I allow my prayers to activate Divine inspiration in my life.  And so it is.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGET: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 3 “Affirmative Prayer In Use”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGET:  30 Days of Prayer-Day 3 “Affirmative Prayer In Use”

Meditative Thought: Why Affirmative Prayer?  Prayer is our spiritual thoughts, and thoughts create our existence.  If we believe that God is out to get us, then that becomes our truth.  If we declare our separation from God and live as a victim, we deem ourselves as powerless.  Affirmative prayer is a tool to shift our consciousness from victim to Victor.  Prayer is a way to return our mind and our thinking back to God.  The prodigal son only remains the prodigal son as long as he wants.  He always had the power to return home.  Prayer is our road map home.

Spiritual Assignment: Today, consciously release the victim, and live as a victory.  At the end of your day, take time to journal your experience.

Affirmation:  Just for this moment… just for this breath, I pray to shift.  I am a Victor and I release the victim.  And so I am.  And so I let it be.  Amen.

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 2 “Affirmative Prayer”

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Prayer-Day 2 “Affirmative Prayer”

Meditative Thought: Most people believe in God, a Universal force that governs our existence. Prayer is a way to access and commune with that energy. I use to pray to a God outside myself, asking and beseeching a gray-old father figure for the desires of my heart. Now I understand, God is within each and every being. We are one with this all-powerful force. We pray with an understanding that we are one in God.

I use a form of praying called, “Affirmative Prayer.” Instead of begging for something, affirmative prayer states the truth of life. Affirmative prayer declares our unification with God. I believe we have everything we need. Affirmative prayer is a tool to anchor that belief. It is no longer who we are praying to; it is where we are praying from.  We pray from a place of knowing that we are Love, Joy, Abundance, Wholeness, Peace, Order, Balance, Gratitude, Oneness, and Compassion. Affirmative prayer is a prayer field anchored by the universe, immersed in God.

Spiritual Assignment: Today, during your prayer time, practice affirmative prayer. Speak the truth of who you are. Say, “I am Abundance, Love, Joy, Grace, Compassion, Creativity, Wholeness and Prosperity.” Take time to journal your feelings and the vibration affirmative prayer gives you.

Affirmation: Just for this moment… just for this breath, my life is the life of God and I am one with all Divine qualities. And so I let it be. Amen.
