DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Recognizing The Divine – Day 21 “Worthy Of Rose-Colored Glasses”

Meditative Thought: I love that saying, “Seeing through rose-colored glasses.” The rose color reminds us of love, so what we are really saying is, “look with love.” But here is the challenge, we don’t always see our own selves through the rose-colored glass. At times we do not consider ourselves as worthy of being loved by others. Worthy of love is a concept that sometime eludes us because of our past paradigms of what love is. We must teach ourselves what love truly is. As children, we were taught that love is received because we have been good or have done something that deserves merit. Real love is unconditional, without terms. Love just is. Our worthiness of love is never based on what we do, but purely on whom we are. We are worthy of God’s blessing because we are God’s blessing. Know that we are worthy of the rose-colored glasses. See your self through the eyes of Love and know that how amazing you are in the heart of God.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, look with loving eyes. Set the intention that with every person and situation you will choose to see with God’s eyes. This is a practice that will take time. If you catch yourself seeing with anything else, forgive yourself and begin again.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am worth to be loved, because I am love. Amen.

Meditative Thought: Can you love no matter what? Can you participate in sharing the gifts when challenges or disagreements arise with a friend, loved one, or co-worker? Can you see past the difference of opinion and be the source of harmony? The solution is always Unity Consciousness. We must remember that we are all cut from the same divine cloth of God, just with a different pattern. We are expressing the same Universal power with our own unique take on it. There is the spirit of God that is within us all; if we allow ourselves, we will feel that connection. If we can see through divine eyes, if we can hear through God’s ears, if we allow God to be activated in all situations, we will love no matter what the appearance might be.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, be still and see God with your third eye. Through prayer, meditation, and contemplation you will know Spirit in the spirit.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am free to love no matter what. And so I allow it to be. Amen

Meditative Thought: When we ask the big questions, like, “Who am I?” “Where can I shine the light?” “How can I serve?” we must expect an answer. Contemplation of these life-changing questions brings a deeper awareness of our own divinity. Our answers will be found in meditation. When we take the time to be still and listen, the answers we seek will always come. These questions help us to see God. This type of inquiry is the first step to an enlightened life. Enlightenment is already within us; these questions help us to recognize it. Today be willing to go within and ask the questions.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, ask the question that will up level your consciousness. Find a clean page in your journal, take a question into your meditation, and contemplate. After you are done, take the time to write the question at the top of your page and journal your answers.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I recognize God as being all that there is. Amen

Meditative Thought: Once we are willing to shine, ask the question, “How can I shine?” The most effective way of sharing the light is doing nothing. Release and let go; allow God to radiate as your life. Surrender to the Universe, and let God do the God ”thing.” We need not make anything happen; we only need to allow it to happen. Be willing to radiate what is already within you. Keep your mind clear and open. Remove the doubt, fear, and worries from your consciousness and know that you are not alone. You are supported in everything that you do.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, ask the Universe how to shine your light. Have faith that you will receive the answer, and then take action. Go and shine.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I allow God to shine as me. I am a powerful tool for God to flow through me. I release and let God, be God, as me. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: Once we recognize the light that is within us, we must be willing to ask, “Where can I shine the light?” The answer is Everywhere! Shine the ”God energy” every opportunity you can. When we choose to shine, we are choosing to participate in the divine activity that is already present. It’s like when we walk into a room and we turn the lights on. Electricity was already in the room; it just needed to be activated. There is no place that God is not; it only needs to be turned on and realized.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, when you step into a room, set the intention to turn on God. Make it your primary purpose to share the divine qualities that live within your being.

Meditative Thought: Yes is the great activator of the Universe. When we say yes, it aligns our intentions with the activity of God. The Law is a law that only knows yes and it will support whatever we claim as our truth. But we must be aware and conscious of what we say yes too. The Universe will bend itself around you to support your yes. Today say yes to anything that leads to spiritual growth. Say yes to service. Say yes to creativity. Say yes to Love. Say yes to compassion. Say yes to unity. Say yes to Abundance. Surrender, and say yes to God having its way in your life. Say yes to living the greatest life possible.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, say yes to the spirit of God. Your yes activates the Law.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I say yes to God. I surrender to the Universe. I surrender to Spirit. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: There is no one harder on and more unloving to you than yourself. The simple statement I hate my… (Fill in the blank) is a phrase we trough around quite a bit. Have you ever hear the quote, “Charity begins at home and then spreads abroad.” The work is to show self-compassion and love, and then we can pass it on. All love begins from a space of self-love. When we can be kind and loving to self, the world seems less threatening. Most of our unloving perception comes from an internalized hate. Today is the day we free ourselves from the chains of self-deprivation. Be mindful of how we talk about ourselves and of how we talk to others.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, find your self-love before trying to love someone else. Share love from your overflow.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I love myself; therefore I can love others. And so it is.

Meditative Thought: Divine Joy requires practice. When the storm of life is raging, it is our joy that will carry us through. There are times we feel that there is no way we can be joyful given our personal circumstances, but be encouraged: There is always something that we can be thankful for. Today, set the intention to activate Joy no matter what. Go deep within and find one thing that makes you feel the joy Energy within you. When we choose to participate in the joy, we choose to participate in God. Set the intention to share your joy with everyone you meet, and see what happens. See how others interact with you. Today, celebrate Joy!

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, celebrate Joy. Do what makes you happy. Find the power in connecting with your inner Joy button and push it all day. Remember to keep a journal of your journey.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I activate Joy everywhere I go. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: What others think about you is none of your business. We cannot control what people say about us or the way they treat us; we can only find inner peace within ourselves. It is never about you. It about how they are feeling at that particular moment. Have you heard the saying, “One minute they like you and the next they don’t”? That is because human perception is constantly shifting. The only thing that we can control is how we react or interact in a situation. The journey is to find peace during moments that seem to be out of our control. Serenity only comes from within and it happens when we shift our consciousness. When looking for peace, it will come when you stop fighting.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, free yourself from the need to worry about what others think of you. When the urge arises, reminds yourself, “It’s none of my business what they think.”

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I surrender, and I activate peace. Amen

Meditative Thought: When we deny the presence of God moving, we deny our namesake. We are children of the Divine, blessed and highly favored. When we refuse to see the truth that the power of God has shifted our lives to a higher plane of existence, we commit blasphemy, cursing ourselves to a life of struggle and pain. Denial is dangerous and it is the act of refusing to see God working in your life. Living in denial is living with a consciousness that is void of the truth. God is the strength that gives us the power to change everything in our lives. Truth is the presence of Grace active as your existence. When we think that we live a life outside God qualities, we are living in contradiction. The calling is to know that you are one in Source that heals all things. We must never deny the movement of God as our life.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, live out of denial. Empower your consciousness and awareness with meditation and prayer. Today is the day you live with purpose. During your practice, ask for the truth to be revealed. Allow Spirit to show you that you are one in God. Today, move consciously aware that you move as God, and journal your experience.

Affirmation: Just for this moment… just for this breath, I am free to live in the truth of God. I release any denial of my oneness with God. My life is full of blessings and I celebrate this awareness. And so I am. And so I let it be. Amen
