Meditative Thought: Do you find it hard to love unconditionally? What does that mean? Unconditional love is love without conditions, loving no matter what. It is a challenge I struggle with everyday. When I drive in Los Angeles traffic, unconditional love is the last thing within my consciousness. But I am aware that I need work. It is a practice, not perfection. I do not beat myself up when I find myself annoyed and irritated. I have the tools to shift. Prayer, meditation, and a desire to be better are the tools for shifting.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, whenever you find yourself irritated, use prayer and meditation to re-center yourself.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am an instrument of Unconditional Love; a healing tool for the planet. I release the judgments against myself and everyone else. Today, I choose Love; today, I choose compassion. Joy and Gratitude begins with me, and spreads abroad. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: “I am what I am,” says Popeye the Sailor Man, and he says it without apologies. Wake up to whom you are and embrace the journey you all have said yes to. Every situation is an opportunity to know our divine destiny. When we begin to see our self the way the universe sees us, we begin to understand the scripture, “You are my beloved, with whom I am well pleased.” Luke 3:22

God is saying, “You are my beloved” to us all the time, but we don’t always hear. Because we choose to focus on our downfalls instead of the divine qualities that we are, we are left feeling a sense of lack and limitation. The Universe only sees what is pure within us. God only recognizes Compassion, Joy, Love, Oneness, Peace, Abundance, and Grace. We are God’s children, with God qualities, and when we participate and share these qualities, we live the life that we were meant to live.
Everything we do helps us to understand our true selves. What are we? We are the expression of God, longing to express more of itself. We are what we are. Like Popeye, make no apology.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, bless what you are. Embrace yourself and know that God makes no junk. You are the I am of the I AM. Take the time to be grateful for who and what you are.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, divine Love dwells within me. Grace and Power is who I am. I am one with the Infinite. Gratitude is my life.

Meditative Thought: The “Power of Now” is being present in this moment, rather than worrying about the moment that has just passed, or the moment that has yet to come. Every Day is filled with new moments; every breath is a new breath, and that is all we have. We do not have the past…it has gone. We do not have the future…it never comes. We only have the present, so celebrate your “Now Moment;” live it to the fullest. We get to play in a New Day, every day.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today and every day, when you awaken, say an affirmation that will anchor your soul in the Now. Align your self with the present and set the intention to stay awake.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, Life is good and full of infinite possibilities! Life is good and full of infinite Joy! Life is good and full of infinite Love! Life is good, good, good, good, good in this now moment.

Meditative Thought: So many times we measure our wealth by how much we have in the bank. Our emotions can be dictated by how large our bank balance really is. Our material possessions are not who we are. Stop identifying with ”stuff,” which means nothing. Wealth consciousness is a practice of remembering that we are one in God; therefore, we are blessed and highly favored. You are an heir to infinite abundance, blessed with unlimited prosperity. No matter what your account balance says, it can never change how blessed you are. Today, begin again and start with the knowledge that you have everything within you.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, tap into your wealth consciousness. Go within with meditation and prayer. Connect with something greater than the material. This is an inside job. Play as if you have enough, choose a charity that you can give to. Free your mind and know that you have all the abundance God is. You can only receive that which you believe.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, the Universe is my source, and I am blessed. The Divine lives within me, and I am everything I need. There are only blessings in my life. There is only prosperity expressing as me. There is only Now, filled with God’s overflowing Good. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: The term “Born Again” has so many meanings. When we hear “Born Again,” what we typically think of is Christian salvation. But it can simply mean a re-birthing of the truth within your self. While we are here on this planet, there is a call to awakening our consciousness to the realization that we are one in God. Once we know this, we are reborn to a new way of living. After our resurrection from the walking dead, a genesis of infinite possibilities becomes our life and we are truly new.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, examine what ”born again” means to you. There is no wrong or right. Examine, contemplate, cultivate, and journal about what comes up.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I hold counsel with God, my spiritual life coach. I stand tall with the support of the Universe. Everything that I need to know is revealed through Love and Spirit. I awaken the truth within me and I am born again. I am one with Divine Intelligence, and I am blessed. And so it is. And so I let it be. Amen

DAILY SPIRITUAL NUGGETS: 30 Days of Celebrating New Beginnings – Day 10 “The Gestation Period”

Meditative Thought: Gestation means to carry a fetus; it is a pregnancy. When we are about to give birth to a new idea or vision there is always the sacred time of waiting. During a gestation period, we must keep active. What appears to be a time of inactivity is really an opportunity for spiritual growth. Ask yourself, what can I do to go deeper? What can I do to expand my consciousness to the next level? During this time, what might appear to be a waiting game, The Universe is asking you to prepare your self for what is to come.

Do not mistake a creative block for a gestation time. Consider doing something different. Writers, this is a time to find another modality to be creative. Actors, this is a time to write your own one-woman or one-man show. Musicians, immerse your self into the quiet so the flow of creativity can continue. Whatever your calling is, know that it is unfolding right here and right now. During this time, stay focused by trying meditation. The “Waiting Space” is a time for you, and your gifts to grow. When it is time, give birth to your divine creative child and let it fly.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, be aware if you are in a gestation time; if you are, bless it with love. During this period, find ways to create. Do something different. Create a mantra that will remind you of what is truly going on. “I’m am preparing to give birth to a divine creation.” Connect with your spirit of creativity as you carry this sacred embryo.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I celebrate Eternal Life, forever emerging. I am one with Ageless Wisdom, forever expanding. And so it is. And so it shall be.

Meditative Thought: Every new idea is received from the fourth dimension and we are the catcher of those thoughts. We were created from that same space, the divine mind of God, a sacred creative source that exploded into our existence. As we step into the “promises land,” we will notice an open space waiting and prime for our infinite possibilities and new ideas. A new vision means a shift in our perception. When we set the intention to shift, we will begin to see new ideas and new solutions to old problems, new love opportunities to participate in, and new ways to share God. Today is the day to activate a new practice that anchors our willingness to shift and that will eventually lead to a life with divine meaning.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, be aware of how many new ideas you catch, and every time you do, write it down. Begin to take note. Notice how open you are to new ideas.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, my life is one with an infinite power, and I live a life of infinite possibilities. The source of all things flows through me with ease and grace, and I allow creative energy to govern my life. My existence is a marvelous playground of Joy, Abundance, and Light. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: New beginnings always require the act of embracing change. As we integrate our awareness into God’s spirit, we become new and we activate new insight into our spiritual growth. We have access to the cosmic agitation that will shake off anything that is not supporting our expansion. We must commit to practices that elevate our consciousness and anchor our existence. Live from an openness and a willingness to shift and watch your life expand beyond recognition. We must prepare for our goodness and the miracles of life that the Universe is waiting to present to us. Say yes to the shift; say yes to your new beginnings; say yes today.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, do everything that will embrace your shift. Whenever you find yourself resisting, surrender to it. The ego does not like change and it will do everything it can to stop it. Be willing to release the resistance and fall into the arms of transformation.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I expect only greatness for my Life. I humble myself as the Universe continues to teach me. I Love, because Love is all there is. Faith, Humility, and Love is the order of the day. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: Divine expansion is the focus when we set the intention to walk a path of enlightenment. Every download, Ah-hah moment, and insight is a jump off point for the sacred journey toward higher consciousness. If we are open to divine expansion we will be amazed at what is revealed to us. The lessons or growth opportunities are always right where we are. Every situation provides openings for our soul’s expansion. There is no person, place, or thing outside of God; therefore, we are always in a space prime for deeper awareness of you and who’s we are.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, find a book that inspires divine expansion. Truly take the time to find these writings and then allow it to help you on your journey. Study and master this one book; read it over and over again. You will be amazed at how much insight can come from one book.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am Love; therefore I Love. I am a divine entity; therefore I see my Divinity. I am Grace; therefore I walk gracefully. I am Peace; therefore Peace is everywhere. I am Abundant; therefore Abundance is who I am. And so it is. And so I let it be. Amen

Meditative Thought: If we ask ourselves everyday, “What is new and good?” we will find it. The Universe is always expanding and is always good, so if we look for the evidence, we will find the proof. As we step into spring, this is the time to set the intention to see a word full of divine newness. We get what we are looking for, so look for the best. When we begin to see everything as new and good, we activate the joy of living. Every breath, step, word, and thought are expressions of the God; we need only to be aware of it. Remember, life is good because we know it is good. It is the affirmative mind that brings us to an awareness of truth. Our life is the life of God; therefore, it can only be with the qualities of God, which are Love, Joy, Abundance, Peace, Prosperity, and Goodness.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, only speak of what is good and new and what is working in your life. Allow your conversation to continue to inspire you.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am held within a field of infinite wealth. Prosperity is the order of the day. There is more than enough for everyone. The overflowing vastness of Mother Earth reminds me that I am one with God. The song of Abundance is my heart’s melody.
