Meditative Thought: There is nothing we can do to attain Empowerment. It is a consciousness, an awareness that we have everything we need. Empowerment consciousness takes time and spiritual work, cultivated by the practice of prayer and meditation. Empowerment comes from our connection with the divine. Our unity is the only power that is lasting. True empowerment comes from our relationship with God. As our consciousness expands, our relationship deepens and our empowerment grows.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, set the intention to up-level your consciousness with prayer, meditation, and affirmations. If you are aware of your empowerment, your life will expand. Today, move with the knowledge that you are empowered with the grace of God.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I remember to remember. And so I am. And so I let it be. Amen

Meditative Thought: Your language and thinking is key for your personal empowerment. Be aware of negative thoughts entering into your mind. As soon as you are aware of the negative thoughts, use an affirmation to help you shift your thinking. Affirmations help to expand your consciousness and subconscious, allowing the super-consciousness to empower your existence. Align your intentions with affirmative language, creating the most effective and ideal atmosphere primed for transformation.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, affirm yourself with a mantra that speaks the truth of your existence. Mindfully speak the words until you have feel empowered, until you are anchored firm in the awareness of the power of God. Write an affirmation that you can believe, one that will help you to stay focused. “I am one with the Divine power, and my highest good is unfolding perfectly,” is a simple affirmation with effective power. Set your clock, watch, or phone alarm for 6am, 12 noon, and 6pm, as a reminder to say your affirmation. Take the time to journal you experience.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am one with the Divine Power, and my highest good is unfolding perfectly. And so it is. Amen

Meditative Thought: How can we navigate through our gestation periods? Here is the key: stay focused and empowered. Keep a positive attitude. Your thoughts will affect what emerges from this waiting space. What we think is in direct relation to what we manifest for our life. Our thoughts coagulate into our existence. If we think that nothing is going on during this time, than nothing is what our experience will be. It is the waiting that allows direction to come forth. “Be still and know” is a verse from the Old Testament. Be still and know that I am God. Be still and know what to do. Be still and know where to move. Honor your gestation period and know that the great divine idea is growing inside you, ready to be birthed.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, recognize the power in doing nothing. Be still and know the truth; wait on your insight. There is power in staying put. Spend time in meditation. Throughout your day, spend time in contemplation, cultivating the insight you received during your meditation.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I allow only positive thoughts to be my experience. And so it is.

Meditative Thought: A cocoon is a place of transformation. A gestation period takes place during this miracle; what entered the cocoon is not what exits. During this transformation we must prepare for the change. The question to ask is, “What is seeking to emerge from this cocoon?” The question is an activator for your own awareness that a shift is ready to take place. The question is also a tool for empowerment. We know that we are not standing still doing nothing. We know that there is an up-leveling of our soul that is going on, and when we are ready, we will take on the vision that is pulling our existence to a higher level. Like the caterpillar that goes into a shell to transform, you, too, shall awaken anew, spread your wings, and soar.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, place yourself in a cocoon of The Divine. Be still and know that you are wrapped in God. Take the time to ask the question, “What is seeking to emerge from this cocoon?” As you move through your day, have faith that you will receive an answer. When the insight comes, you are ready to allow the Universe to take over. Empower your vision with the grace of God. Know that all is well and you are being held in the hand of Mother-Father-God.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am god’s divine idea and I am ready to fly! Amen

Meditative Thought: There are no blocks, only “waiting space.” In this waiting space there are opportunities to awaken the sleeping giant. This giant is in your gifts waiting to bless this planet. Waiting spaces are opportunities to transform and cultivate what the Universe is calling you to be. The waiting space is a time for deep meditation and contemplation, asking the questions that will take you to a deep place of growth.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, if you are experiencing what appears to be a waiting space, this is the time for meditation. Take the time to meditate on awakening your sleeping giant. In your time of stillness, listen to you higher self, know that something is coming forth, and create an open space for greatness to come forth.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I allow the sleeping giant to awaken.

Meditative Thought: I once heard a spiritual leader say, “If you are looking for self-esteem, do estimable acts.” I believe there is a more expansive way of understanding that principle. Self-esteem comes from an awareness of who and what you are, which then leads to participating in estimable acts. When we see our true divine self and recognize our oneness in the Universe, our overall consciousness is elevated; we begin to love ourselves, and this in turns leads to admirable action. Everything we do come from the knowing of who we are and that is true empowerment.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, define what self-esteem mean to you. Make a list of all the things that you can do to elevate your awareness that you truly are. Prayer and meditation are at the top of the list for connecting with your divine self. Choose one task, small or great, it does not matter. While you are participating in that assignment, remember who and what you are. Remind yourself that ‘you do because you are;’ not the reverse. At the end of the day, journal about your experience.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I recognize my self-esteem comes from my connection with God. And so it is, and so I let it be.

Meditative Thought: Empowerment refers to the increasing of your spiritual, political, social, educational, gender, or economic strength. It is time to decide what empowers your existence. What motivates you to truly reach for the stars? Whatever gives you the feeling of power and strength, it is time to connect with it and make it yours. Fuel your every move with true power; divine power. There is something that lives deep within your soul that energizes your life. I call it God; you can call it whatever you like. We must learn to connect with this source and allow it to define our existence. Empowerment comes from knowing this divine presence intimately.

Today’s Spiritual Assignment: Today, set aside time to define what an empowered life looks like for you. In your journal, create a definition of empowerment and make a list of every aspect of your life that is empowering and/or needs to be empowered. Remember, all true power up-levels your existence and it comes from God. Connect with Source that lives within you; it’s the only power you need.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I celebrate God within me. I am one with great power and I can do all things in God that strengthen my life. Amen

Meditative Thought: What makes us worthy of the life we live? Nothing! “Worthy” is a concept that can only be understood by knowing who and what we are. Self-worth is the knowing that we are the divine expression of the Universe made flesh. You are worthy because you exist. We are worthy because we are God in the flesh. Once we understand this spiritual principle, we are free to move through life doing God’s work. Everything we do we must do from a place of “I am worthy because I am.” Take care of your body temple because you are worth it and because it is the home of Divine Spirit. Do your spiritual practice be the beacon of light that all needs to see. Continue to love, because the person you see is an expression of God.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, stop trying to find your worthiness and become your worthiness. Connect with who and what you are; know that there is nothing you need to do. Write yourself a letter telling your little self that you are worth the practice.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I know that I am a divine expression of the Universe. My body temple is the home of the Divine. And so it is.

Meditative Thought: What keeps you on track? What practice of discipline helps you to not give up the vision? I believe there is a source of power that elevates your energy and allows the right action to take place. There is an authority within you that fuels all your intentions, creating the desire to do the work that is required. We must turn to that energy when the life journey gets to be too much and we feel like giving up. We must anchor ourselves in that power to see us through. We have caught the vision and have been called forth to see it manifest. Connect with God that lives within you; it will continue even when we cannot. It is an inexhaustible source; we do not have to be in need to tap into it. You have it within you now. Recognize a power greater than yourself that makes all things happen.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, simply stay with it. Continue with your practice no matter what.

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am on track fueled by God’s love. Amen.

Meditative Thought: What is your reality? What is your truth? Whatever you say or claim is the stamp you place on your existence. Are you weak or strong? Are you rich or poor? Are you an outcast or a child of God? Are you sick or walking in divine healing? Do not confuse what is truly real with your experiences. The only thing that is real is God and the omnipresence of the Holy Spirit. Remember, sickness can never be your reality; it is only an experience. The reality is that your spirit is whole and complete, active in divine love. Today, only speak reality into your existence.

Your Spiritual Assignment: Today, speak your truth. Claim what you are. If you don’t believe it, say it anyway until you do!

Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am whole and complete and full of vitality. And so it is! Amen
