Friday Affirmation and Body Connection – Saying Yes

Have you said yes to your health? When we say yes to health and fitness, we say yes to letting our inner light shine. But before we head on out to tackle the sport or gym of our choice, take that time to prepare. Just like you wouldn’t go on a marathon run the first time out or begin a hard workout without a warm-up properly prep.

Prepare your mind and body for the journey of transformation

Prepping your mind is important in your journey of transformation. For example, if you decide that running or walking is your preferred form of exercise, then begin by choosing an area to run or walk that is pleasing to you. Research the different routes and paths you can take even the type of paths, grass, trail, asphalt, track etc…. Plus equip yourself by investing in a good pair of running shoes, and running gear. If yoga is your choice of exercise, get your own yoga mat, towels etc to help you have the best experience possible. If you are looking for a gym, find the place that speaks to you, and ask yourself, can I be here? Does it feel like a community? Not every workout place is the right one for you, so don’t settle. Preparation like a good warm-up means giving yourself the best opportunity to shine and be successful.

Our Affirmation: Just for this moment…just for this breath, Identify yourself with the Light within, and allow it to catch fire and shine bright. And so it is. Amen

Peace and blessings,

Monday Meditative Thought – The Journey

Transformation as a Journey

As we enter the final week of our theme on renewal, I want to highlight that transformation is a journey and not a destination. Once you think you have arrived at your destination or goal, ask yourself a question, “Where does this road of transformation lead?” By asking this question, it creates an openness and willingness to grow and be more of our authentic self.

This week’s Action Plan: Embrace the journey of transformation. Take a breath, open your heart, and keep moving. Remember, you are on your journey, taking it in one step at a time, observant and knowing that your journey of enlightenment is unfolding.

Peace and Blessings,

Monday Meditative Thought – Renew the Mind

Meditating on the Power of Renewal.

True transformation is shifting the way we think and to do that we renew our consciousness with the practice of meditation, affirmation, and prayer. It is our thoughts that get in the way of truly knowing our oneness with the divine. This week we continue building on this theme of transformation from download direction and know better and look to renewing the mind. “And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.” — Romans 12:2

Your “Renew The Mind” Action Plan: Throughout the week aim in meditation is to be still and quiet in your thoughts so that you may hear God. Begin to renew your mind within the “upper room” of your soul. This is an active practice of connecting what you are doing with what you are thinking and feeling.

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 15 “Writing Your Divine Story”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 15 “Writing Your Divine Story”

Today’s Body Connection:  What is your divine story about your body?  Is it a body of God, filled with infinite possibilities, or is it weak and limited? You get to decide.  Today, write your legacy: what will you be about?

Today’s Meditative Thought: Set the intention to write your divine story.  So many of us continue to be the author of lack, limitation, and misery, and we call it our life or our story.  That is not our real story; it is only a mistruth we have decided to take on as our identity.  This tale of doom and gloom is not your destiny; it is not your birthright.  You are a spiritual, divine emanation of the Universe able to do all things with the awareness of the Christ Consciousness that lives within you.  Set the intention to rewrite your story.  By releasing your history, there becomes room to receive what God has in store for us; blessings we have yet to see.  When we hold on to the old tapes, there is no room to grow and transform.  Release your story and embrace the glory of God.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, write your divine story.  Begin to journal; write out the blessings that is your life.  Begin by simply stating the truth: I am love.  That is your true story.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, there is only a divine story that is my life.  I am moving, living, and having my being in God; therefore my only story is blessings.  Amen.

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 13 “Oneness with God”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 13 “Oneness with God”

Today’s Body Connection:  Every fitness training session brings us closer to God.

Today’s Meditative Thought: Setting the intention to manifest the life we want begins with knowing your connection with the universal power.  A daily practice of anchoring our oneness with God is the only true action required for manifestation.  Because God is the source of our life, it is that awareness that empowers our desires.  There are three principles for manifestation: The first truth of manifestation is the understanding of the incorporeal essence of God that governs the corporeal nature of man.   Whatever it is that we wish to manifest for our life, God is the source.  The second truth is what we want for our life we must be willing to become.  If we want love, we must be willing to become love.  If we want abundance, we must become an opening for prosperity.  God can only do for us that which we will allow God to do through us.  The third spiritual principle for manifestation is the awareness that we are not here to get anything; we are here to release the presence of God that lives within us.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, every hour on the hour speak a simple mantra that reminds you that you are one with God.  Create an affirmation that anchors your awareness that God lives within you.  It should be easy to remember and filled with passion, e.g., “God is, I am,” or “My Life is the life of God.”  For the next 30 days build a consciousness with statements of truth.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am one with God and life is good.  Amen.

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 11 “Celebrate You”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 11 “Celebrate You”

Today’s Body Connection:  Set the intention to recognize what you have said yes to.  Every physical practice is a celebration of your inner work.  When you train the body-temple you celebrate the divine gift of life.  Today is the day to rejoice and enjoy yourself.  You are on the path, a journey to wellness.  Remember, nothing stops you but you, so get moving, keep moving, and never give up.

Today’s Meditative Thought: It is so important that we set the intention to celebrate who and what we are every day.  This spiritual practice is the elevation of joy within our souls and is the daily action that anchors our oneness with God.  When we are mindful of God as our life, there is this sense that everything will be okay.  There is no need for doubt, fear, lack or limitation thinking; there is only room to celebrate.  This type of celebration, or what I call the “spiritual happy dance,” is personal.  It could be an act of giving or it could be a mantra, “God is, I am, and I celebrate.”  It could be the participation in a physical act like walking in the park, playing with your pet or loved one, or taking a yoga class.  Sometimes a little prayer of “Thank you God” is a celebration of the life of the Holy Spirit that is within us.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, celebrate who and what you are.  Decide how you want to celebrate and consciously take the action to rejoice.  For the next 30 days, create a ritual that will elevate your gratitude and thanksgiving for the blessing of your oneness with God.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I celebrate the God that lives within me.  Today I am Joy rising, and I am grateful.  Amen.

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 10 “Recognizing Eternity”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 10 “Recognizing Eternity”

Today’s Body Connection:   Set the intention to know eternal life through the practice.  Did you know that you could add ten to 20 years to your life by working out?  The physical practice is the fountain of youth and it’s time to tap it. Every time you train, it is accumulative.  Restoration of the body requires a daily practice that takes time before you see the payoff, but it is happening.  One of the first things that people will notice is that you look younger.  You will hear compliments like, “Did you have work done?” or “There’s something different about you.  You look younger.”  Truth is, you are younger in spirit and, yes, you have had work done: inner work.

Today’s Meditative Thought: The deepest awareness that we can have is our own eternity.  Once we realize that we are spiritual beings, having a human incarnation, that our spirit is never born and will never die, life becomes meaningful.  In 2012, I experienced a great deal of what appeared to be loss.  My sister Beth, two aunts, several close family friends, and a student of mine all made their transition into “life after life.”  My “human incarnation” experienced grief and pain, and some days I felt as if life did not have a purpose.  It wasn’t until I consciously began to do spiritual work around life eternal did my perception shift.  Daily I prayed and meditated on life never-ending.  I asked the Universe to show Eternity to me.  Every time I did, I felt the presence of my loved ones around me.  I felt comfort and a sense of peace.  For me, this is evidence of eternity.

Another lesson that I learned through this experience is that I do not have to wait until someone leaves this side of existence to anchor an eternity consciousness.  A daily practice builds spiritual consciousness so that I am prepared when the turbulent waves of the sea of life hit.

We are all created from God; therefore we are everlasting.  Set the intention to know your infinite self.  It is the spiritual practice that allows us to tap into the open space of Divine Eternity.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, ask to know eternity.  Close your eyes and breathe in.  Contemplate life eternal through your daily meditation.  Be still and know your eternity.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I live the eternal life of God with high intentions.  My life is the blessing that empowers the world and all is well.  And so it is.  Amen.

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 8 “Let Your Voice Be Heard”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 8 “Let Your Voice Be Heard”

Today’s Body Connection:  Set the intention to let your true voice be heard through your workouts.  When we participate in a physical practice, there is a vibration we radiate that is like singing.  Our energy is the voice of our true nature.  We cannot hide what is going on within.  Training the body-temple is letting your true nature be heard.  There is nothing within us that says we should be in poor and de-conditioned health.  Our true nature is love, and when we exercise we express who we truly are.

Today’s Meditative Thought: This year, set the intention to let your voice be heard.  What I mean by “voice” is your talents.  There are great ideas that you have downloaded from the Universal Mind that you have kept to yourself.  It is time to release and allow the creative juice to flow.  We all have talents that we decided to bring to this side of existence long before time itself.  One of our fears is that “it” won’t be good enough.  Not true.  “It” is always good enough because “it” is God.  Whatever your talent is, it flows from the mind of God so bless it and let your voice be heard.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, set the intention to share your gifts with one person that you trust.  Do this task without an expectation of judgment.  Simply ask this person to participate in your talent for the simple task of sharing.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, l live my vibrations and I bless the planet with my gifts.  I release anything that does not serve my existence.  I awaken my divine creative nature and I set free the God energy that is my life.  And so I am.  Amen.

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 6 “Remember to Remember”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 6 “Remember to Remember”

Today’s Body Connection:  Choose the workouts that help you to remember your intentions.  If you set the goal to be the best you can be, choose a practice that anchors the intention.  The physical should always be in alignment with the mental and spiritual goals. Set the intention to always remember your truth.

Today’s Meditative Thought:  Waking up is one thing, but staying awake is a completely different practice.  Remembering to remember our divine self can be more challenging than experiencing “Ah-Ha” moments. Each and every day there are eye-opening insights that activate evolution, but then comes the action required to implement true change.  Once we begin the journey to shift, we must continue the work in order to remember.  This could come from prayer, meditation, sacred study, fellowship, and self-contemplation.  Set the intention to “remember to remember” every day.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, set the intention to stay awake.  A quick mantra can always help: “I am one with God.”  Create your mantra that keeps you on track.  Commit to a practice of aligning yourself with the one power of God.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, the qualities of God is my life.  I “remember to remember” my purpose.

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 4 “Love Yourself”

DAILY TRANSFORMATIONAL NUGGETS FOR THE BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT: 31 Days of Setting Intentions – Day 4 “Love Yourself”

Today’s Body Connection:  Our main intention for physical practice is to learn to love ourselves.  There is nothing outside of our consciousness or awareness that can fulfill us like self-love.  When we set the goal to grow from the inside out, it doesn’t matter what the physical practice is, it will always have the same outcome: empowerment.  The journey to self-love can be long and challenging, but it is always worth it.  You are worth it.

Today’s Meditative Thought: The greatest love is self-love, not a conceited type of love, but a love with the understanding of who and whose you are.  Set the intention to go deep within and connect with your divine self.  This is the Holy Spirit that is the one and only power source that is your life.  You are one in God; therefore you are always in love, divine love.  Love is your DNA.  Love is what you are.  Set the intention to know yourself as Love, having a human incarnation.  The Course in Miracles says that if you are not in a mindset of love, you are blocking God’s miracle for your life.  Whenever we forget that we are love and to love ourselves, we hinder the flow of God, and we cannot love others.  Remember, it is your natural state of being, to Love.

Today’s Action Plan:  Today, meditate on remembering self-love.  At the top of each hour, remind yourself that you are Love; therefore you can love in all situations.  Set the intention to be mindful of who and what you are.

Today’s Affirmation:  Just for this moment…just for this breath, I am powered with love and I bless the planet with Love.  Amen.
