This Week’s Meditative Thought – Remembering Freedom

We dive into choice this week and to remembering freedom that this choice has in our lives. You have the choice to manifest the life you desire, but it begins with releasing the things that are not a part of the Divine vision. Remember, your old experiences are just that: old. Let them go.

This Week’s Spiritual Assignment:

All this week remember that freedom is releasing all the spiritual stuff, junk and gunk that is not serving you any longer. This could mean people, places, jobs, ideas, thoughts, THINGS (that closet full of old clothes) and relationships. Take the time to make a list of everything that is holding you back. And begin to let these things go.

This Week’s Meditative Thought – Ready To Surrender

This week’s meditative thought is a challenge on the readiness of surrendering the control of your life. Are you ready to surrender? Are you ready to begin and experience the riches and treasures of the universe? As human beings, resistance is part of our DNA and to “surrender” seems counter intuitive. But growth begins when you turn your will and the care of your life over to a power greater than yourself, there is a freedom to relax, a freedom from the need to make “it” happen. God is in control of all things; we only need to step out of the way and allow him to do the God thing.

This Week’s Spiritual Assignment:

All this week, meditate to turn your life over to a power greater than yourself. Through prayer and meditation, cultivate your oneness with God. Take time in the stillness, clear your mind of external thoughts, and with every breath repeat the mantra, “I am one with God.”

This Week’s Meditative Thought – Empowering the World

When we understand that our life has purpose because we are living, we begin to live a purposeful life.   From this awareness we will see our life vision. We will take part in what God has called us to do. My Friends, you are the tool the Universe has chosen to bring forth new and amazing ideas for this planet.

Only you can complete the calling. As you begin to activate and participate in your divine gifts, you will empower the world. You will inspire everyone you meet to be the best they can be.

This Week’s Spiritual Assignment:

All this week, decide how you will inspire the world to greatness. “Empowering the World.”  Set the intention to empower your community. It only takes one person to start a chain reaction. It does not have to be a big act; it can be the smallest thing, like picking up a piece of litter. But if this act is filled with big intentions, it will set the world on fire. Remember, you are the spark.

This Week’s Meditative Thought–Yoga To Love

Yoga To Love

Yoga-sittingThis week we’ll contemplate and cultivate our “oneness consciousness” and how we are connected to our higher self, which is Love.  In yoga, our primary focus is to deepen our awareness to the Universal presence of God. Because God is love, a yogi’s journey is the journey to Love.  Once known, we are connected in God, and become aware of our connection to each other.  These connections runs deep within every cell of our existence that is always active and waiting to be recognized in each other.  When we take the time to meditate and to be aware of our spiritual connection to one another, we participate in the sacred practice of fellowship.

This Week’s Spiritual Assignment:

Today, journal about the God connection you find in other people.  Make a list of the divine attributes you recognize in the people you meet.  List the divine characteristics you want others to see in you.  Remember there is but one God that lives in all of us.

Have a blessed week,

This Week’s Meditative Thought – Creating Open Spaces

Huaraz, Peru

Last week we tackled setting intentions. This week let’s build upon this theme by opening our consciousness and creating a space to grow.  To begin we must be willing to release our old ideas so that we may have new experiences on our spiritual walk.  Our intentions set into motion the clearing away of old paradigms that no longer serve us.  It is the open space that gives us breathing room so that new and powerful transformative work can take place.  When we set the intention to be more, there must be a willingness to ask the question, “What must I release? What must I become?”  The intention to transform is the intention to become more.

This week’s Action Plan: Today, set aside everything you think you know about your journey so that you are open and free to have a new and fresh experience in God.  Use the “set aside prayer”;

“May I set aside everything I think I know about ____ (fill in the blank) so that I may have a new experience.”  Be willing to release everything that no longer serves you.  Create a space for transformation.

This Week’s Meditative Thought – The Illuminated Life

Illuminating Light BulbThis month we’ll focus on “Celebrating Light” and we’ll begin with “The Illuminated Life” as this Week’s Meditative Thought

Living an illuminated life is a journey surrendered to the revealing of God. Every moment, every breath is dedicated to seeing the unfolding of the Divine Mind, not only in our lives, but also in every person, place, or situation that we come in contact with. Once you are aware that we live, move, and have our being in God, this is the beginning of the illuminated life. God is everywhere present, always active, knows all divine things, and is all-powerful, and this is the consciousness of the illuminated life.

Your Action Plan: Today and for the remaining week, live your life with the awareness of God in your life. Live the illuminated life every breath you take. Take a moment and recognize the power that live within you. Awareness is key so today stay awake.

Monday Meditative Thought – Faith, Hope, Prayer, and Gratitude

Creating a Practice

This month we’ll focus on Faith, Hope Prayer and Gratitude as our theme with “Practice” being the key this week. Most researchers agree that to do something for 30 days in a routine can become part of your consciousness. I invite you this month to explore the practices that empower your life, experiencing prayer, meditation, affirmations, and a commitment to physical activity. It doesn’t matter what you believe; just know that there is one universal force that expresses itself in so many ways. For the next 30 days focus on the space we practice from, not who we practice to. Make a commitment to pray for your family and friends, and be grateful for the people in your life.

This week’s action plan. Throughout the week, take take all your cares and worries to prayer. Write a letter to God. Tell the Universe about what ails you. Now imagine a God bigger than your problems.
